I am going to change one thing quickly. The break up of the 18 positions was based on an alternate scoring system, and is less applicable to supercoach with KD's and KF's not scoring great. I will change it to 4 defenders, 5 mids, 1 ruck, 4 forwards, 3 bench and 1 sub.
Hi everyone,
Just gauging interest in participating in a long-term, head-to-head keeper league. I'm looking for up to 16 teams to take part in a draft-style comp, only put your hand up if you are likely to continue playing each year. There will be a $25 entry fee each year with 100% of the...
Re: Supercoach Scoring Gripes: Solution?
Everybody is acting like there are only two possible ways to score in fantasy footy. I like the transparency and ability to keep track of dream team, but i prefer the types of statistics used in supercoach, and between the two i think a superior...
Re: Supercoach Scoring Gripes: Solution?
you're right, across the season the scaling isn't such an issue. but one of the other things that i dislike about the scoring systems in both SC and DT (this is going away from the point of the thread a little) is the dominance of midfielders. I think...
Supercoach Scoring Gripes: Solution?
Okay, so every year and just about every week there is an example of players scores being so distorted by the scaling system in supercoach that they seem absurd. The scoring system is obviously designed to reflect a players impact on the result, hence the...
definitely gablett if he's named. its possible to be worried about the article on afl.com where they say he will play more off the ball now that the younger mids are earning some trust, but come on, he'll still pump out 140+ most weeks.
i like the first one better, although murphy could change all that very quickly, potentially very tight.
I've got 516 points + T Greene vs Murphy (C) +Robinson+ Shiel + Morris + NicNat......going to be a fun afternoon :D
have to finalise my team this morning before heading too work, you guys have eased my mind, will be holding him and hoping the trades i save give me a boost later in the year.
Re: 2012 Player/s X v Player/s Y
Ta, i'm tempted to go stevie J anyway just on the off-chance that he comes good and gives me an edge, but probably will go zaha.
If you are worried about your bye structure and already had it setup, I'd go with sidebottom, but i think lewis is the most...
I don't think its a bother over nothing if you're going for overall (which i am, like you just to see how high i can get). It will be important to minimise zeroes, the trick is doing so without compromising team quality. which is a tough ask!!
so yes, i think keeping the byes in mind when...
looking at bugg>franklin, switiching smedts into defence. might wait a week though to take advantage of their low/high breakevens respectively. really keen to get the forward line upgrades rolling but all my forward rookies are rubbish so its going to be hard to do.
2175. Very happy with today's scores. Going NicNat over Hmac may have been a mistake, but geez he's exciting to watch!! Not sure how far i can jump from 15000, but would love to be around the 5000 mark when it reopens :thumbsu:
just putting it out there, i think buddy was very lucky to score 65 after being 38 at 3 quarter time. tackles were about the only thing that saved him.
Re: So, how are your POD's going
Worried about Yarran, happy enough with mitch robinson though after a horrible rd 1.
in hindsight, got sucked into a cookie cutter team yet again :D
haven't really nailed the rookies, but then again there aren't all that many good ones, so only one rookie mistake to fix dickson>kennedy.
i might just make one trade, but i'm considering putting the new trading system to use and doing broughton>hawkins/n roo/zaharakis slash any forward...
