Always two sides to every story. This has played out almost exactly as the Jed Lamb/Mark Baguley sledging drama a few years ago.

Best first half in years turns into the most heartbreaking game I've ever seen. Just not good enough when it mattered.

Things are never as good or as bad as they seem. Midfield has issues that need to be addressed but I honestly thought the backline performed admirably given the amount of ball coming in, and the forwards never stood a chance.

Genuinely good game of footy played between two top-4 sides. Haven't seen too many round 1 matches with that level of pressure. Thrilled with the result.
