He's a big diesel engine - just keeps chugging and gets better, or at least maintains his output, as the game goes on. Plenty of preseasons under his belt now and despite not being a physical beast he holds up very well in the contest as evidenced by that tackle count
Agree with most of this. Dropping back from AFL to VFL is a big change too - not just the general skill level across the board but also systems they have, and players like him who are developing and want back in the ones may have different set of instructions and strategy for the game. I think...
Excellent win today and I’m not being hyperbolic. Stuck fat, made the most of our opportunities with a rag tag forward line. Haven’t looked at the stats but felt we were very efficient in the F50 and keeping the ball in from stoppages - not so much when we were flying in and muffed a handball...
Hey y'all. First time poster in here; glad to see this thread exists. If anyone's based in the US and has interest in seeing the boys in person, let me know. Usually get the train down once or twice a year to Charm City and have been to few away games too... caveat is that it must be a fun city...
First time I've seen him play a whole game due to time zones, etc. Absolute jet. I did feel he was a bit overly fawned upon last year racking it up on the HBF, which was a completely fair decision to look after him while he developed physically, but definitely not a seagull as many others have...
Completely agree with these sentiments. If they rest players and West Coast win, they'll face them in week one with Sydney overtaking them for 5th - provided things shake out as we expect. Not a good idea to flirt with form and disrespect an opposition a week before playing them for keeps
Absolutely delicious result. I quite like most of the English players and feel for them (especially Rashy and Saka) but the thought of the Thames overflowing with the supporters tears provides so much personal joy
probably the most disappointing loss for the year. our systems completely broke down and so many dumb errors. the cats weren't overly good at all which makes it worse
With Cameron done, could we move Stewart forward? He looks all at sea down back tonight and their tall defenders are picking them off as we go forward. Will get to more contests that Hooker that's for sure
I’m ambivalent towards Collingwood but quite like Bucks. Have met him a few times at non-football related events and he’s a genuinely nice guy. Dom Sheed misses what he normally would and Bucks is golden. Tough gig. Will be a good addition to the footy media
