blaisee seeing as you’ve since bemoaned people not answering questions asked, I figure you must’ve missed this one.
So I’m bumping it for you, please answer at your earliest convenience.
I think this is a bit of a myth.
Their top end is arguably as good as any, but it falls away very quickly. Their depth is horrendous and has been for years.
They’re fielding multiple players each week who should be nowhere near AFL level.
Easily our most important player. So yes, he'll be a massive inclusion for us when he's fit and ready to go.
To be winning without him is seriously impressive, even if it for the most part hasn't been pretty football.
Not sure about Fagan getting another gig.
I have a lot of time for him. But this is his 8th season and he hasn’t won a flag (yet). Rightly or wrongly, at 63 he may be seen as too old to take the top role elsewhere.
Shouldn’t be lost to the industry though unless he wants to step away. All...
Carlton
Liked: A simple one to start us off. We’re 2-0. It wasn’t pretty but it’s where we want to be.
Learned: Tom De Koning is ready.
For years I’ve been pro the 2-pronged ruck division. Not because I didn’t like TDK but because he physically wasn’t ready.
He is now.
He was beaten at...
Hmmm...decision time.
The only certainty for me is Gibcus out.
He's in my utility spot so I guess I can pick the best of the 'missed' rookies as his replacement.
Dempsey or Jeremy Sharp the options; any thoughts on who is the better option?
Coffield, Jhye Clark can also be moved on if...
Stepped away for personal reasons. Not at all the same.
This has already been debunked. Clearly I was asking for another.
But you can’t hide us one, can you? I wonder why?
I’d invite you to try again but it seems you can’t do it and simply resort to personal insults.
No, I'm suggesting your point isn't a great one.
If a club came in for Bevo as one did for Hardwick, he too would probably leave.
Until then, it's not realistic to expect Bevo to step aside, it is on the club to act.
Again, can you name one example of a coach who has done what you are...
How many coaches step away because they aren't producing results?
Hardwick left because another club came knocking with a significant offer.
You don't really believe the "burnt out" narrative, do you?
A hilarious metric to use given Max missed his entire first season due to injury.
Did you not know that, or did you simply choose to ignore it?
One more goal in 2 more games. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for your point.
That's an easy one - because the Dogs have the same issue they've had for years. Their depth is absolutely deplorable.
Great top end, but the bottom falls away pretty quickly.
I don't think they've been "worked out".
What they did last season - and how they did it - is not a secret. Every coaching group would be aware of what they did and have ideas about how to stop it.
But having the plan is one thing. Having the players capable of executing that plan is a...
Long way to go of course, but 3 scoring shots in a half from 23 entries isn’t a great sign from a forward line needing to step up with - and in tonight’s case without - Tex Walker.
