Looks like we're following a similar path to last year. Right now we're 1333 or 13 days ahead of last year which is still pretty decent. A good start to the year and we may well reach that 65k, but I'm forecasting it'll be a photo finish.
Creeping upwards slowly. I can't help but feel that the events of the past month have put a slight sense of negativity in the minds of potential members.
We need a good news story. Ollie, if you're reading, please sign. Cheers
The only way our membership base is going to increase is by attracting new people. I always make an effort to welcome those who sign up and encourage those who are thinking of buying a membership.
The 'bandwagoner' term is not appropriate in our case. The big reason why our membership base has...
Sure is. Keep in mind we're in that nothing phase where anyone who is serious has already bought their membership, and everyone else is in no rush as the season is still ages away.
Some interesting stats (just to show how well we're tracking);

- We are currently 9925 ahead of this date last year
- It took until the 16th of January to reach 50k...

Some of the logic behind it; I felt it was important to have both elements of Ports past and present in the logo, tried to do this without making it look tacky. I personally hate the fact that...
'Vanilla' is just about the perfect word to describe our season so far. Yesterday however, we were the full Maude Flanders un-flavoured non-fat ice milk.
It did, I forgot the exact phrasing of the question. I still find it hard to accept the 38% figure and hence tried to come up with a logical reason why it may be so low.
I'm pretty sure people voted against the PB jumper because, realistically, we know it will never be our permanent home jumper. If Eddie suddenly got abducted by aliens tomorrow and word came through that we could use it permanently, I reckon the vast majority of Port supporters would get behind it.
If we're not selling out the oval as it is, there's absolutely no point in expanding it. Even if there was, you'd redevelop the western stand before building a northern stand.
I must admit though, I would love to see the western stand upgraded to match the eastern one day. Whenever I come in...
