Tyson would still be playing reserves on our team. Kelly is now in the 22. It was win/win, but we won a lot more. Perfect trade by the club.

The weather and we wont get that many people until we are a chance of winning every game we play. We have taken the step in the right direction now. We won't get those bandwagoners supporting our team until we are a clear no.1, give it a few more years at least to be worried about that :)...

See, I don't see anything impressive in any of his videos. Just him marking over people that are 10cm shorter than he is. I literally don't know what the fuss is about. But if he has towelled up FBs that have been drafted to the AFL recently then that is fine. Any advantages he has a "junior"...

It is not so much that, rather there will be natural attrition from the club as players want more game time and/or money we need to hedge our bets. And if it means a nice supply of early picks for the next 5-7 years then even better.

Well I have only followed afl properly for a couple of years. But we got 2 for Tyson after 2 years in reserves. We will trade another player next year for a high pick as well. And if Freo want McCarthy it will take their first round draft pick, not their second round one, correct? Do you know...

There are a million people within 20 mins of Giants Stadium. I have a feeling it is easier for them to get to games than people in Wagga Wagga or Canberra. Plus the people in Wagga and Canberra are already AFL fans. There is not much point in courting them. All this is meaningless anyway...

I think of Plowman as the "quarterback" type of HB. Can do things with the ball and (potentially) make play out of the backline. He kind of reminds of me of how Roos played at CHB at the Swans. A HB line of Shaw Plowman and Hampton will be something to watch in a couple of years.

True about the injury issues - good thing is, he has time to come good. Or at worst be good trade bait like Tyson. I would pick Jaksch and Corr again at 12 and 14 to be honest. But I would rather Grundy instead of O'Rourke. But... lets see.

Yes. Absolutely. He should be given free reign around the ground rather than Backman or Forward. I am starting to think more and more (and I really liked him even in season 1) how good Tomlinson could be for us.

Well, I do mean right now. Corr and Frost 100% agree. I really liked Frost at FB for the one or two games he played it in 2012. Perhaps if our midfield can pressure opposing midfield a bit more for the whole game next year we won't feel the need to continuously bolster our backline.

I think its worth it for them to keep it Giants as a marketing expense. I would have called it "Giant Stadium" rather than Giants but great move.
