Gresham is averaging less possessions but slightly more goals per game than he did with Saints last year.
Either way - I wouldn't be paying that much for this sort of output...
If Kings out I'd definitely go with Campbell in the ruck and Marshall fwd.
And Owens in the middle
And Phillipou at Sandy
And Garcia as a mid
And Collard fwd
And Howard in defence
And Jones as the sub
Quick look at the AFL injury list shows about 8 to 10 players listed as hamstring injury's still more than 5 weeks away from returning.
Another 8 or 10 who are closer so being fit - I've got no idea how long they've been sidelined prior to this week.
So clearly its not something unique to the...
I think you've missed the directive from the AFL that injury recovery estimates now must be more realistic than the ever hopeful - "Hamstring - 2 weeks".
Thats why we are seeing some players come back a bit earlier than original expected.
Played the last 6 games at Carlton last year as a mid.
Averaged 7 clearances a game including 4 centre clearances a game - Jack Steele has averaged 1.7 centre clearances a game so far this year.
Dow will help.
No problem with Ross playing but his job now is as a run with player.
You need 6 or 7 players capable of running through the midfield for minutes each game.
We get everyone back from injury and options look a lot better.
Steele, Dow, Windhager, Henry, Ross, Clark, Sinclair, Jones, Phillipou...
Yeah and unfortunately the next week he was sent back to tagging.
I like the idea of Marshall Steele Dow and Windhager together - seems a really solid attacking midfield.
Sanders would want to be far better than a "nice start" - cost them Pick 10 & 17 last year and this years 1st rounder to get him and a couple of late picks.
I reckon you'd be screaming for blood if we did that.
Leading goal kicker in the AFL at the moment has kicked 25.7 (75% conversion rate). King has kicked 6.6 (50%)
King clearly needs to add the "Hogan Stutter" to help with his accuracy.
Aside from those in actual contention, clubs like Gold Coast and North would be a suitable target.
Both Gold Coast and North will have a shedload of talent who will all want money around the same time.
North may prefer to give a a first rounder so they can then pay for LDU, Sheezel, Wardle...
I don't expect it of Reid but sometimes players come in and make a huge impact but then don't progress.

No I think its moved onto a discussion about outright pick purchasing.
The idea being discussed now is that a clubs could directly buy draft picks from a club (most likely one in contention and with salary cap issues) and the money they get for selling the pick is then added to their salary cap...
Doubt that any on that list (other than Howard) would net us a pick.
But lets say we snag a couple of extra late picks for players, that gives us 6 draft picks to be used how ever (4 draft picks and a couple of trades???), then sign a delisted free agent as "depth" then a hold over list spot...
Don't believe any of this talk about a "rebuild".
What we will be doing is what every club does every season - turns over a portion of their list in the search for players either through the draft or trade.
Might have a different focus because of a different coach but it isn't a "rebuild"
We...
What's a "hard rebuild" and how do you achieve it?
If it involves delisting "list cloggers", where do you get the additional high draft picks to secure either quality draftees or satisfy trade requirements?
If it involves getting additional high draft picks, who are you trading out to get...
Caminiti is the least of our problems
