Whilst I agree he doesn't come across that well via his profile, you have to realise that they get encouraged to blow smoke up their own asses to sell themselves. It's a lose-lose situation for them really.
I'm not too worried about what he said there. If the club deem him to be of accetable...
Somehow I don't think we'll lose all 3 in Notte, Hansen & McKinley. Our forward stocks/reserves would be atrocious. Especially if Lynch goes.
Notte is only 20. Give him at least 1 more year.
Yep. If it's about education, well I can bear it, however it's where they envisage him playing in the years to come, I'm worried. For what it's worth, I think Smith will become a very solid AFL player, just not in the last line of defence.
I am quite interested in this selection mate. My mail is that there's been a fair bit of interest shown and indications are he'll go relatively early.
Good selection. :thumbsu:
Re: James Strauss vs. Ash Smith vs. Rhys O'Keefe vs. Luke Shuey vs. Matthew Broadbent vs. Jarrad Bli
when will people realise that no one plays like Judd
I'd put your money on complete bs.
Either that or their rankings do not reflect best player alone; rather a combination of best player and needs/wants.
Perhaps so, but in a particularly strong and deep draft, it's not overly surprising.
Just needs to concentrate on having a good year next year and I have no doubt someone will take him.

Rather than spank west coast for a wonderful display, I'll be honest and provide my rankings pre-draft.
My rankings were;
Rich
NN
Watts
Hartlett
Yarran
But I am very very happy with NN, and contrary to your opinion, I see him very much as a...
Sincerely very very happy.
Smith at 36 is a massive steal.
Indifferent about not taking a small forward, but expect to take one or 2 in the rookie draft [ie john bennell if he lasts]
