Hargrave should not be cast aside. He is a very valuable commodity... especially in our current team, with a HUGE need of run from the backline. It would be stupid to let him go. He's been injured... and in the couple of games he's played this year, he has been more than decent... especially...
Am I missing something here with Shane Thorne? Didn't he only play the one game all season for Willy, and in that game, he blew out his knee? Maybe I'm wrong, but if I am right... surely you and others on this board can't be too dark on the selectors, nor Thorne for that!?!
I don't at all disregard your ideas here, Fred... but, give James Fantasia's team, the same number of first round draft picks that St. Kilda had back in the halcyon years (Riewoldt, Goddard, Kosi, etc...) and I think you'll find we'd have been playing in the Grand Final last week... and there...
It pains me to say this - but, 31 seconds into the 2nd qtr... the Pies are looking very good! Here's hoping Geelong claw their way back, take a few Pies players out and we can then focus on playing a team of Josh Fraser's! :)
Is there a world record for burning bridges!?!
Even if any of this is true... I don't think that any of the parties mentioned would want any of this getting out.
If Aker truly did receive 5 txt messages from Bulldogs players when he was dumped, I don't think he'd be getting too many more any...
I was thinking the exact same thing! It certainly flies in the face of, 'any publicity is good publicity', though!
Some weeks we really get a good run on 'On The Couch'... and other weeks, such as tonight, not so much. All in all, I think it's the best 'footy show' going around...
Granted, we didn't play very well tonight and certainly didn't take our opportunities to win the game when they were there to be taken. Very disappointing, without doubt...but, we now have to move on to another very important game on Sunday week.
However, when flicking stations driving home...

I'm more than happy to read this. I think it's fantastic that the players bond to the point that they'll choose their mateship over $.
Caroline Wilson loves a bit of muckraking, though, doesn't...

Good on you, Aker! In this day and age, I think it's great that someone is looking beyond the almighty $. Same story I dare say with Nathan Eagleton. :thumbsu:
.. and thanks for taking your hand off it long enough to type your reply. Idiot.
If anyone actually has information on Travis Fimmel, I thank you in advance.
Hi Saints fans
I don't know if any of you watch a great show on ABC2 called, 'The Beast'?
It was the last production Patrick Swayze was involved in.
Anyway, I was just checking out some information on it, when I discovered that one of the main actors on the show is from Victoria, and...
Couldn't agree with you more, Doggiesin08. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to the game last night... but, I was certainly yelling at the tele when the free kick was paid against Everitt. I think it comes back to the umpire paying a free kick based on what he thought he saw and not what actually...
Can anyone confirm my suspicions that Jon Pierik is a one-eyed Collingwood fan? Not the most even handed review of a game I've read this year...

It's a really good piece - a number of issues are raised and responded to in regards to players (where Everitt, Skipper and Wight are at, etc). It's refreshing to see Rocket divulge such information... and more so, have a journalist actually asking some relevant questions! A very good read.
Could anyone please let me know if they're aware of the training times down at Whitten Oval over the next couple of days. I wouldn't mind heading down there to have a look, if it's open to the public...
Thanks in advance.
Probably very true. However, I went to the Diadora one the club held earlier on this year, and providing you like the product and they have it in your size -you could get some fantastic bargains. We picked up a couple of pairs of runners and a fair few track pants, tops, etc. We spent about...
So... someone's got to be wrong here. If Skipper was the only emergency to have made the trip... how could Williams be replacing Callan in the team? I do hope that it's the former, and Skipper's just heading over there under the guise of an emergency, to catch up with family and friends!
