There has never been any doubt in my mind that Geelol (thanks for spelling suggestion Bruce) are a bunch of cheating campaigners, full stop, but sadly they have mates at Head Office, and hence the complicit media rarely seem to draw attention to it.
I decided to go to this game, this arvo was booking Air fares and thankfully got a phone call from nephew in Tas telling me it was a sell-out, before I pressed "pay". o_O
Contracts law ?
Perhaps i didn't study it either, I am still wondering about the clause that entitled a contracted player to go home and eat turtle, while still contracted?
Contract Law, meaningless BS.
Sadly it's happened before and it will happen again.
Right now I'm thinking of what a great week it's been for Collingwood,.....
Ceglar impacts in a winning team,
T Phillips, big contributor, 2 goals.....
:'( pies.
The ones I really feel good for are the Hawks Fans who made the time, effort ,spent the $ and went to Tassie to support the club, Good on you all!!
I'm sure you all enjoyed More than the rest of us did.
Now I'm regretting not having the guts to commit and be there myself.
Let's put it simply, this bloke is a Traitor , the cats are the enemy, our most significant enemy, I cannot conceive how a true Hawthorn person could wear that filthy hooped guernsey.
They are a s**t Stain of a football club.
The thing that gutted me the most was hearing the Hawks fans at the ground sining the song loud and proud after the siren.
Wish it had been at the G, and I could have been part of that great occasion.
Would have been able to scream out "Tall Poppy Syndrome" one last time.
that Game is also etched into my mind, the decisive goal was at the swimming pool end, trudged out of the ground with my old dad, me just a kid at the time, not realising that there were 12 glorious Premerships ahead. looking back now, it makes me proud to be an "old" hawks fan.
PS Later in...
Without checking the records,
I will say the last time we played there was easter Sunday 2006.
We won and won well. s**t cold rainy day, Hawks prevailed!
Bring it on I say.
Hang on, Hang on, you lot.
Let's reverse the situation.
How about a situation where the Fans who attended a game were those who mattered. Isn't that why its played in the first place???
Now it's been turned on it's head and were playing footy for "Television" and NO Fans/supporters allowed...
