Mick Gatto has never been accused or found guilty of bashing a woman. I wouldn’t put Mick anywhere near the disgraceful level of Nick Stevens.

I have heard them both say many times they weren’t friends but no enemies either, just different personalities but they are fine with each other. Not everyone best friends when there’s 40 odd blokes. Everyone has different friendship groups.

I agree with this post - Bolton a good option.

Sam loves The Queen so possibly that’s why he’s saying Andrew is innocent until proven guilty. But a lot of people love The Queen but can also say Andrew has behaved poorly and deserves to be punished by the law.

Retain Coniglio as captain- he just needs a full pre season then his form will come back. If he has another injury affected season in 2022 consider Kelly or Greene to take over.

This might be a strange suggestion but if they can’t get Clarkson I think they should consider Brendon Bolton again- he already had the experience at Carlton, been at Hawthorn twice under Clarkson and is now Collingwood director of coaching. Pretty good football resume. Thoughts?

Great podcast - Newman and Scott are such unique characters each in their own way that it works. I agree with previous posters - they are especially great interviewing ex- VFL/AFL footballers.

Wayne just spoke honestly on his radio show when asked - not sure why some people are unhappy about this matter. Pretty harsh to be concerned about it.

Carey didn’t bring this matter to the public he got asked about it, he’s in the media so good he explained. Don’t think he’s talking about it to gain advantage, he even said he might be or his Dad might have lied about it to get government help.

I must say the Newman and Scott podcast is a beauty - Scott is an absolute classic.

I think it's best to judge players careers after a minimum 5 years and ideally 8-10 years. Careers aren't built on 3-4 years.

I think people are too hard on Scully too early - only his 4th year and 2nd year injury free. He will peak in 2-3 years without injuries as the GWS build. Give him some time.

I think he's worth $5M on the open CEO market but AFL can't pay him that much due to PR.

I think the club is going great and it's a great move by the AFL creating the club. I have an AFL club (West Sydney) and NRL and A-League clubs. There is room to have a club in all three codes! Go Giants!

GWS had to pay "overs" to get some players from other clubs as did Gold Coast, that's just the way it is. This year was Scully's 1st injury free year - I don't believe players careers are complete in this short time. I'm my opinion careers should be judged over 10 plus years and not 1-3 years.

GWs We don't need to step up this year and Scully dosn't either. GWS and Scully are at least 5 year plans- review in 5 years, not 2!
