If west coast are offering him a long term contract at $800k+ they do believe they need baker, and it is a biggie. Clubs won’t offer this to players they don’t need and are just ‘nice’ to have. But let’s see what they come back to him with and indeed if there is any interest.

Lucky the new West Coast list manager is a decent bloke. He’s known to have a pretty good relationship with other clubs in trading and providing fair value. He will do the same if he’s keen on getting Baker across. Hope he stays though.
