Yes it was our doing, but Sydney used that opportunity to twist the knife. Don't expect that things get forgotten, it goes both ways.
Anyway, I like Sydney as a club, just pointing out the long memories...
Geez you guys like a sook don't you. Can't recall the dissent about taking Tippett for nothing when he decided he wanted to "go home" to Sydney.
We owe you guys a smack, so you'll just have to suck it up for reasonable value, unlike what your club screwed us with or let him walk to the PSD.
In an ideal world yes, but it's not an ideal world and we owe Sydney for screwing us on Tippett and taking advantage of that situation. Time for pay back.
He's a hard nut despite looking like a 10 year old kid. Very damaging touches too. Was frustrating watching him get away with throwing the ball about 4 times, he's turned it into an artform and the umpires don't even look twice. Very clever and skillful, plus he's managed to get the niggle out...
Not sure why people haven't worked out that this is just his schtick. It's what pays the bills. He's prepared to make a knob of himself and to manufacture this hatred of the Crows to ensure he gets paid. Without that side to his routine, he's got nothing. Not particularly well spoken, was a bog...
Was trying to think of the Carlton guy and couldn't remember when I posted, but now remember it's Brendan Bolton. Shaw was actually a pretty good coach at Fitzroy, but had no idea what to do when he inherited a team of thoroughbreds and had facilities, staff etc that he'd never had before. He...
Underrated post. The landscape will be entirely different as this crisis lingers. Money going into the AFL has frozen, club income is all but frozen and there will be very cautious decisions made by all clubs going forward. The end of the long contract and contract values will be the first casualty.
Every time I hear her speak she's offered nothing new and nothing I haven't heard before. I'm sure she's very capable, but I haven't heard anything that would make me think ýep gotta have her'.
Eddie would be a terrible choice. He's a great player and a great fella, but his knowledge of people leadership, structures and programs would be zero. Wasn't even in the leadership group at the club. He would be ideal as a mentor, but this role is a far more corporate position that wouldn't...
Hi Bay 13 regulars,
I’ve been in and out of this place for a while and have enjoyed a spar or two.
After a decent volume of posts, I’ve decided to hang up the boots due to an ongoing battle with PTSD.
Now I’m thick skinned and can’t recall anything that would constitute a meltdown, but it’s...
It is also possible that his parents were being genuine. After all, they are bother and sister and probably haven't really had much to do with the outside world.
I wouldn't be poking the bear too much if I was Hawthorn after the dodgy deal for Scully. That never would have passed scrutiny if it was any other club.
