There was a big difference in the way the Pies v. North game was umpired.
Obvious difference.
North received 8 free kicks for the match. That is unheard of.
And we won the free kick count with 11 in total.
There were a couple of wrong decisions both ways. The one with Cloke's obvious hands...
Agree on all counts.
Especially about Harley. His commentating was petty and biased.
Harley always sounds frustrated when Colllingwood is winning and he would have found anything to justify his bias.
It's heartening to read the responses to this.
The worst thing I ever say at the footy is probably "You bloody mongrel" which I direct at the umpires quite frequently.
It gets a bit repetitive because I can't think of many words to use to express my rage without offending someone.
I think in...
We need more photographers to catch out this crooked umpiring system. It is a bloody joke.
The photo above is just ONE example of DOZENS.
But the Giesch says, "nup, no problem here." get effed.
He certainly hasn't had much impact this year. Maybe the question should be: what has happened to him? Is he coming to the end of his career?
OP uses some weird language. One thinks he/she may have homoerotic desires themselves.
I don't have a problem with the idea of cheerleaders.
But they really have no idea what they are doing. And by 'they' I mean the club.
Why weren't the dancers facing the crowd and trying to get the crowd going? Isn't that what cheerleaders are for?
Who were they dancing for, the television...
They hate our guts and get off on hearing Collingwood supporters get angry at umpiring decisions.
It's a conspiracy.
How do you explain a sporting club making 43 grand finals for only 15 premierships?
I think the cheer squad should be mostly kids, teenagers and young adults, with a small handful of selected mature adults. I could be wrong but I think the younger ones will turn up each week?
I think they were all night games. But seriously how many Geelong fans turn up to their games every week anyway? I'd say they'd be getting around 20-25,000 at most each week. That's just their supporter base, whether at MCG or in Geelong.
Thanks. Yeah, it's tough. Money is an issue. But I think if I just give him money all the time (like I have done since he finished VCE at the end of 2012) he will have no motivation to get a job. I am still paying his mobile phone bill every month cos I figure that's useful in getting a job...
His running goal against the Swans last week was damn exciting too.
I went last night and took a friend who rarely goes to the footy and doesn't know the new players that well (does anybody?).
Anyway, just before the bounce I pointed to Elliott and said, "He's probably my favourite player at...
Just because someone has been a past champion, doesn't excuse not making an effort.
And if he is not injured, then it seriously looked like he was half-assed last night.
Several times last night - and not just in the last quarter - I thought "Does he just not care?"
That's great news Copeland. I hope he sticks at it.
I'm unfortunately into a tough situation at the moment. It was my son's first year out of high school last year and he went straight into an arts degree - which he hated. He stopped going after a couple of weeks but didn't tell anyone and...
This year feels like 1999 all over again.
Bucks was given a premiership team and did nothing with it.
Bucks = Tony Shaw
The Collingwood team is like a merry go round, young kids getting on, young kids getting off. Every time I turn around there's another new player.
I'm afraid st kilda...
