A headline read "West Coast will win another flag before Fremantle win their first. Absolutely they will." came up on my Facebook feed this evening which was posted by Punters Page.
Even before the Footy world happened to have heard of Harley Reid and even way before this article was made...
Tonight's Western Derby (1st Half particularly) has given me the idea that Fremantle AFLW Team will claim first club flag way before Fremantle AFL Mens Do. Who agrees?
Another reason I see Fremantle AFLW enjoying such a brilliant Season 9 is due to wonderful recruiting and we have seen AFLW...
2024 S9 - Fremantle
2025 S10 - Fremantle
2026 S11 - Brisbane
2027 S12 - North Melbourne
Felt bored, so I decided to post this thread given the amount of AFL Men's matches I have watched so far in 2024 which thus far, are mainly about the umps.
Saw an newspaper article (From prior to Round 5) regarding both WA Teams chances with Mick Malthouse pointing out that Fremantle are finals bound for 2024 and what happened last week for West Coast against Sydney there are signs of pulse thanks to Harley Reid's performance.
Tonight's game for...
With today's performance, I cannot see Men's winning first club flag before women does. Who agrees that Fremantle's AFLW Side will win first club flag before mens?
Here is a better thread for you all than my previous one:
With 2023 saw no representation of Western Australia in both AFL and AFLW Comps, which Fremantle and/or West Coast team will feature in 2024 AFL or AFLW Finals?
Even with a disastrous 2024 AFL Community Series for both Fremantle and...
As we are less than a month away from the start of the 2024 Men's Season followed by the Women's Season during August/September, here is how I think all four WA Teams will fare in 2024:
West Coast:
Mens - 14th
Womens - 16th or 17th
Fremantle:
Mens - 12th
Womens - 4th and Premiers
As 2023 marks more than a disappointing year for AFL and AFLW in WA with both Fremantle and West Coast not in the finals in either competition, who will claim the state's next AFL/AFLW Premiership?
I think Fremantle AFLW will win WA's next Premiership before Fremantle AFL and both of West Coast...
At 3:15 pm AEST tomorrow, Lisa Webb will be congratulated after a brilliant win and all the fans will have something to look forward to after Round 10 then history in the making during Season 9!
Fremantle's next 4 AFLW Seasons:
Season 8 - 8th, Semi Final
Season 9 - Top 2, Premiers
Season 10 - Top 2, Back to back Premiers
Season 11 - Top 4, Runner-ups.
Everybody, time to watch the 4th Qtr. of 2002 Grand Final!
What a match it is going to be next week, will we see scenes that we saw similar to that back then or will Pies make up for both 2002 and 2003?
Surely we won't see the third straight One-sided Granny held at the G!
Ladder Position 2024: 14th or 15th
Record: 9-14 or 10-13
Teams defeating: West Coast, Essendon, Gold Coast, North Melbourne, Richmond and Sydney
Guaranteed losses: Collingwood, Brisbane, Melbourne, St Kilda, Carlton and GWS.
Peter Crimmins medal: James Sicily.
Leading Goalkicker: Mitch Lewis.
The rest of Fremantle's Season 8 Campaign:
R3 vs Haw - W
R4 vs Ess - W
R5 vs Rich - W
R6 vs NM - L
R7 vs Geel - W
R8 vs St K - W
R9 vs Melb - L
R10 vs Syd - W
That should take them through to Week 2 of the Finals followed by a Premiership in 2024! Who agrees?
With Fremantle's Men capping of a disappointing 2023 with a victory over Hawthorn, our attention turns towards their AFLW Season 8 Campaign.
Can they bounce back from Season 7 becoming premiership contenders or will they finish bottom half of Top 8? It will all start September 3 against West...
How will both Eagles and Dockers go in Season 2024 after making up bottom 6 for 2023?
For me, I think we will see Fremantle will just miss the finals and West Coast finish bottom 3 with no wins against Top 11 Teams.
