Dow getting dangerously close to too many concussion events. Wouldn't be surprised if club gets in his ear given he most likely wont have a contract next year. Another pick at mid-season draft could be handy -

I dare say there is a restriction on how many and who you can drop from AFL back to VFL in a bye round. In which case Butler and Stocker are really the only 2 who have played multiple VFL games with the exception of Howard. It may be just the ones who could drop back? That being said neither of... -

Will be interesting if they have Clark rotating off HBF and Boxshall on a wing based on Ross directing BJ on where they play as these are most likely where they are/have been playing in the AFL. Fincher was playing mid round one in VFL too I think. -

Butler has not played in either of the last 2 VFL praccie matches. Doubt he comes in. Marshall for Keeler Stocker for Macrae Banfield for Phillipou or Ryan. If both miss I suspect Collard will get a game. -

Keeler named in the VFL squad so may not be expecting to play minutes. Am sure he will be there in case though. Banfield the same. Could imagine Wood on restricted minutes after interrupted pre-season so may only play second half -

What role has Byrnes been playing in match sim lately? Struggle to see a spot on the wing for him but wondering whether he is a candidate for the hbf or small def role? -
Review GCS v St Kilda Pre-Season game #1 -- 7:45pm Thursday - Kayo/Fox
My guess is we will see Byrnes, Collard and Keeler come on for the second half with the likes of NAS, SOS and TDK coming off around half time. Will be interesting to see how a backline of Wilks, SOS, Caminiti and Tauru looks if they do trial it at some point -

I reckon Byrnes and Carroll will be delisted but told we will re-rookie them. We will most likely have 5 picks in the rookie draft. Unlikely to find too many diamonds in the rough that late in the draft -

Reckon we will rookie a couple of players to make some space. Byrnes, Carroll, Shoey all possible in the uncontracted if they are not delisted anyway. The likes of Butler could also be delisted and drafted onto the rookie list. -
Prediction Who won't be on the Saints list in 2026?
At this stage I think we will have 4 rookie spots available. Will be interesting to see whether Schoey, Byrnes or Carroll get delisted with a possible rookie spot made available, especially given the week draft. Reckon this strategy could be used for Butler, Said or Barrat to free up some list... -
