I'm completely comfortable with the club's choice to move on a lot of the older players. Gives a heap of opportunities to some very promising youngsters and frees up a heap of cap space.
I can't believe the board actually did it. I mean, I'm stoked they did, but I never thought the review would actually lead to meaningful changes. Colour me surprised.
Tom Browne comes across as that guy from school who always tried too hard to impress the cool kids. Whenever I've seen him try and interact with AFL footballers the players just seem really awkward about him. Tony Jones is similar. The footage of him trying to kiss Rebecca Twigley is just...
Just saw the Cochrane comments. Thought it was Dew that talked about becoming the "6,000 pound gorilla" on the issue and thought it was hilarious, but it turns out it was Cochrane who said that.
I love the AFL, always finding new ways to screw over the Crows.
Thank * for that! Should be enough for a top 2 pick now, although a Melbourne win against St Kilda in a couple of weeks would make it a 3 win gap and make me feel much better about it.
The Crows should win this, but it will depend which Port team turns up for the game.
If it's the Port that lost to a star-less Richmond and Bulldogs at home, it will be the Crows by a lot. If it's the Port that beat the top team 2 weeks ago and absolutely pantsed the reigning premiers in Perth...
Yeah, nah. Mike said it doesn’t happen any more. Are you saying he’s lying?
Mike wouldn’t lie. He’s just an honest working class white male just trying to get by in a world that discriminates against people like him.
No, I assume he's telling the truth. However, what you and he are giving examples of is called anecdotal evidence. Anecdotal evidence is generally worth sweet FA when you're trying to prove something.
Well I guess that settles it. Mike had a female boss once and a mate of his is gay. So if he says all discrimination has been eliminated, I guess it has been.
So you're saying that white male privilege has not only been completely eliminated, but are now actually being discriminated against. Bahahahahaha!!!!
Cheers for that. As a white hetero male, that's the funniest thing I've read in well over a month. Bravo! :D:D:D
I think it will be:
In: Milera, Lynch
Out: Gibbs, Davis
Jenkins in for Himmelberg next week, possibly along with CEY (maybe for Greenwood, depending on how he plays this week).
Very brave effort by Beams to come out about his issues publicly. I hope he is able to get the help he needs and hopefully him talking about it publicly helps to reduce the stigma around mental illness and depression.
