Pick 1 2023 Trade value - What would it take?

Name one club that's had the number 1 pick and advised pre draft who they were taking.

Pick 1 2023 Trade value - What would it take?

This draft is about as shallow as the 2003 draft. Reid is so far ahead of the other prospects. I will be pissed if we swap pick 1 for 2 & 3. Genuine match winner type players aren't worth 2 or 3 role players.

    Opinion Priority Pick

Injuries aside. Getting smashed by over 100 pts to the 2nd worst side in the comp is a problem not just for us but also for the AFL. Just like whats happening to our WAFL team, the other AFL sides are going to be looking at us as a percentage booster for the rest of the year. Our record since...

Hawks will beat us in Tasi this year so pretty sure that will decide the spoon.

Good thing we'll add Harley Reid to go with our spoon this year.

List Mgmt. Welcome Noah Long (Pick 58, 2022 National Draft)

Loved what he has shown this year. His footy IQ will see him play a lot of games. If they haven't already extended his contract, they better get it done asap.

I doubt we'll go for him. All players drafted by us so far are quick. Szybkowsk's main knock is his speed (also not the best kick)

I reckon we go Cowan with 23. Kids gonna be an absolute gun. Long kicking, rebounding defender who takes the game on. Perfect hurn replacement.

Not much of a reach but still reckon he'll be there at 29

Trew is barely WAFL standard let alone worth another go in the AFL. Also very injury prone. Winder I feel is worth another year as a rookie.

This bloke is the main culprit for you guys failing to win a final in 18 years. I wouldn't be backing him in.

Tsatas is no chance of being taken at our pick. Same reason Gold Coast won't look at him. Vic Metro kid that screams flight risk. Also why he's only ever mentioned with regards to Vic clubs.

This guy is a joke. The majority of stories he puts on his page is either copied and pasted from journo's claiming it as his own information. The remaining posts are his personal opinions and his theories with no actual sources of information in the AFL world.

C Clark at 9. We were looking at him when we had pick 2. Dream scenario for us getting a pure consistent midfielder with leadership qualities. IMO other then 32 year old Shuey we don't have anyone that screams out future captain/leader in the middle of the ground.

99% confident we wont use pick 78. Our strategy for a while now is having an extra rookie pick as opposed to using that extra main list spot.

Just to confuse some of you we currently have a total of 33 players (i'm including hurn) with main list contracts for 2023 and 2 rookies. We can have a maximum of 38 players on the main list (we usually run with 37 and an extra rookie). 42 in total including regular rookies (not including Cat B...
