Port or Crows, who's been more successful in the AFL?

Geelong more successful than Richmond, Hawthorn and Melbourne according to that graph. That's despite Geelong having won three less flags than that aforementioned trio of clubs.

Port or Crows, who's been more successful in the AFL?

Crows have the edge over Port according to this.

Port and Richmond, why isn't there a rivalry?

Another chapter could be written this week, or if Hinkley becomes Richmond's next coach, or if Hardwick becomes Port's next coach, or all of the above or one or two of the above.

Analysis The Rebuilds of Carlton and Fremantle and their future prospects

Carlton started rebuilding before Fremantle did so it's concerning how Fremantle have gone past Carlton in their rebuild.

Port and Brisbane, is the rivalry still there?

I think the rivalry between them is still there albeit fairly dormant. A finals match up between them would remind everyone this is probably the biggest interstate rivalry alongside the rivalry between Sydney and West Coast.

Collingwood and Richmond - who has the greater supporter base

I'm surprised Richmond's crowd against Geelong was smaller.

Have the Crows gone past Carlton?

Crows started rebuilding in 2020. Carlton started rebuilding in 2015. Yet it feels like the Crows have gone past Carlton in their rebuild. Do you think the Crows have gone past Carlton in their rebuild?

Have Port gone past the Crows?

I always thought Crows were a juggernaut like West Coast but the gap between Port and Crows isn't really that big.

Carlton and Gold Coast - who finishes higher in 2023?

Gold Coast should finish higher. I can see them sneaking into the top 8.

Opinion Collingwood and Richmond, who finishes higher in 2023?

Richmond could be back in business. Solid wins against West Coast and Geelong the past fortnight.

Why no pressure on Ken Hinkley?

I thought Josh Carr was in charge of selection and tactics at Port now?

Have Geelong and Richmond destroyed the NSW clubs?

I've been hearing the likes of Jimmy Bartel saying Sydney and GWS need COLA back. I don't think the AFL are happy about Geelong and Richmond destroying the NSW clubs as I've been hearing reports about the AFL losing ground to the NRL in NSW. Do they need to bring COLA back?

Will Carlton be the 'bolter' in 2023?

We haven't played West Coast or North Melbourne yet. Carlton have played both of them.
  14. White Dogg

Will Carlton be the 'bolter' in 2023?

They're in no man's land. Can't believe so many tipped them to finish top 4 this year.

Why no pressure on Ken Hinkley?

Port lost the China game yet Hinkley is still their coach. Also Hardwick is under more pressure than Hinkley despite Hardwick being a triple premiership coach compared to Hinkley being a triple preliminary finalist. It's bizarre.
  16. White Dogg

Opinion Collingwood and Richmond, who finishes higher in 2023?

Brisbane match up well on Collingwood because they have the firepower to beat them in a shoot out. Apart from Geelong I don't think any other side has enough firepower to outscore Collingwood.

Mega Thread Hawf & Handbaggers monumentally embarrassing 1700000 page s**tfight (part 5)

Despite all the success Hawthorn had over that time the 1984 and 1985 grand finals still burn them deeply. Even 2009 does to an extent when we knocked them out of the top 8 and Lloyd knocked out Sewell.

Opinion Sack Hinkley 8 - "Ask me in August"

Port have now won 24 of the past 30 games they've played against St Kilda. I was in the minority who tipped Port to win tonight and the result shouldn't change the fact Hinkley shouldn't coach Port beyond 2023. I don't understand the media love fest for Ken Hinkley and Ross Lyon either. The two...

Player Watch JHF - Jason Horne-Francis

I don't recall Tom Boyd getting booed. Closest scenario to this apart from Adam Goodes is Tom Scully after he left Melbourne and even then it was mostly just Melbourne supporters. Not universal like Goodes and Horne-Francis.
  22. White Dogg

Collingwood and Richmond - who has the greater supporter base

Richmond and Hawthorn - which supporter base has the greatest bandwagon?
  23. White Dogg

Player Watch JHF - Jason Horne-Francis

I haven't seen a player universally booed like this since Adam Goodes. Would he be getting booed like this if the scenario was reversed? ie. player drafted with number 1 pick by SA club returns home to VIC after 1 season?

Roast St Kilda in no mans land

Port pretty much always beat St Kilda so wouldn't be throwing baby out with bathwater just yet.
  25. White Dogg

Collingwood and Richmond - who has the greater supporter base

Where's Richmond? Maybe we should be comparing Richmond with Hawthorn and seeing which of those clubs has the greater supporter base?

Next flag: West Coast or Carlton?

West Coast are at rock bottom yet I could see them going past Carlton again and winning another flag while the Blues remain in no man's land before having to start another rebuild.
  27. White Dogg

Why are Port Adelaide so dominant over St Kilda?

2021. Hinkley goes alright against Lyon and is 1-0 against him in finals.
  28. White Dogg

Ken Hinkley has a better win percentage than Ross Lyon

Crows would have sacked Hinkley at the end of 2016. Similar coaching record to Neil Craig too.
