On a different note, both our VFL and AFL teams have let in a lot of points despite having winning records. This would suggest it’s more a structural/tactical deficiency across the club rather than an effort one. I hope the coaches own it.

Hogan is such a structural piece for us. Riccardi is not the person to cover for him. Cadman too young.

When Taylor didn’t play last Himmelberg played on McKay with Buckley on Curnow. Haynes will be that support.

Preuss has had ongoing back injuries. He will be way behind in his running and fitness.

Blues have two of the best key forwards, two of the best mids, and one of the best key backs. Playing at home… not sure why Blues fans are not backing them in.

Yep… I just think we have Curnow and McKay, and then Daniher and Hipwood. Out of those I’d definitely look to play Aleer against Hipwood if we were to give him a run in the ones.

I’d play Haynes before Leek. Personally I think we may have a couple of losses coming. I think teams move the ball to easily on us, and our pressure is a bit off.
