Traded Chad Wingard [traded with future 3rd to Hawthorn for Burton, #15, #35 and future 4th]

Chad Wingard is a gun, great pick up for the hawks.

Recruiting Draft Watch - Jones, Bryan, Johnson, Cahill, Hibberd in

Whenever I see O’Halloran get mentioned on the forum, I can’t help but think about that perfectly waited kick to Ben King in the U18 championships. I reckon I replayed that a few times...

    Recommitted Luke Parker

Can’t see him leaving, especially if Hanners is traded. An absolute gun though and would love for us to get him, but very unlikely.

Draft to be held over two days with live pick trading

I like it, something different and should make it interesting. I think I’ll come down with the flu on the Friday unfortunately and won’t make it into work.

Game Day Round 15: Essendon v Lol Norf - Etihad Stadium, Sunday 1st July, 3.20PM AEST

If this ends up being a close finish, it will be in the top handful of H&A games in the last decade. I know the Geelong and Saints game from around 2009 I think gets a lot of praises, but this games is tracking to top that.

AFL Player # 1: Andrew "Pidge" McGrath (Vice-Captain)

That one on one contest he won at half back got me really excited. He was behind his opponent and managed to win the footy. I think it was in the first.

AFL Player # 4: Kyle Langford - AA squad, Leading Goalkicker, McKracken Medal, 2nd in Crichton 🥈

I really liked his game. Hopefully he’ll build on that and play more consistent football. I like him.

Universal Love Gavin Wanganeen - Essendon Legend Confirmed

My favourite player when I was a kid. I was gutted when he left, in fact, I even bought a Port Adelaide jumper. A true champion of the game, and was close to winning a Brownlow at the back end of his career. Gun.

AFL Player # 1: Andrew "Pidge" McGrath (Vice-Captain)

It wouldn’t surprise me if he was voted into the leadership group in the next few years. I reckon his leadership will become more apparent this year. Obviously we want him to focus on his footy, but he strikes me as the type who would flourish with added responsibility.
