Shelby Knoll - Welcome to Richmond

Jaimee Lambert deserves a mention as potentially a bigger loss short term. 20+ disposal players don’t grow on trees in AFLW and I’d be surprised if she wasn’t their #1 for inside 50’s. It’s going to hurt them big time. Murdered us every time whether it was AFLW or VFLW. Great pickup for the...

Next Seasons List Management And Delistings

Yeah look I've been a fan of Lily's from day 1. Slowish start to 2022 but has had a super last couple of games. Small in stature but tough, finds the footy, tackles, gains meters. The only thing that's probably lacking in her game is hitting the scoreboard which has also been something that...

News Hosking and Kiely charged - accept their punishment.

Jess Hosking not at all happy that she got two weeks for an accidental head clash when Jordyn Allen deliberately punches Emelia Yassir and gets a reprimand. Totally agree Jess. Makes no sense whatsoever.

News AFLW to start new season in August

My opinion is that you can't be waiting almost 18 months for the next season to start. That makes no sense. The biggest issue IMO is having to align the VFLW season again as I believe you HAVE to have non selected AFLW players playing somewhere for AFLW to be a genuine healthy comp on the...

News AFLW to start new season in August

Chiocci wouldn't be happy as she takes leave from her job as a teacher to focus on the AFLW season. Has done so for a couple of seasons. Took long service leave this season. 2 seasons in one year would make doing this again difficult I would guess.

AFLW AFLW Coaches Votes Season 2022

R9 and 10 votes are "behind closed doors" I suspect to leave us in suspense. Won't know these votes until the winner is revealed.

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

To be fair Stan Tara is 27 and every club in every draft since the start of AFLW passed on Tara. She wasn't even picked up in last years draft. GC took a punt on her as a replacement player with absolutely nothing to lose and Tara is making the most of it. Good luck to her. It's a great story...

    Port Melbourne VFLW 2022 Season

Great stuff Ace. I must admit I don’t know if the rules have changed but you could play up to 10 AFLW listed players in VFLW games last season. I wouldn’t think there would be a change to that.

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

Pretty much agree the players you listed are under the pump. I’d be surprised if they didn’t keep Hannah Burchell on the list. They usually support players through their ACL recoveries. Sophie Molan probably needed a better season but she had injury issues early on. I think there will be...

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

Absolutely no doubt that Allen got 2 weeks as a result of the “concussion” sustained. I’d be pretty filthy if I was Allen.

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

Big outs. It’s inevitable that there will be players coming off the list to make way for new draftees so for some this game is going to be their last chance to try and stay in the AFLW. Would be a massive massive upset but stranger things have happened.

    AFLW Opposition Observation

MAR 11. 2022. History made: Former Roo to become Bombers' first AFLW player GEORGIA Nanscawen is set to be signed by Essendon as the club's inaugural AFLW player. I was hoping we might have picked up Georgia in the draft last year. Been absolutely killing it in the VFLW over the last couple...

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

The big question I have is who is going to line up on Lambert. Has murdered us in every game I've seen when she plays against us whether its AFLW or VFLW. Kiely I guess. If Meg Mac is back then maybe she gets a go. A mid who racks up disposals and hits the scoreboard is a gold nugget. Will...

News AFLW to start new season in August

Will be interesting to hear the feedback. A fair few players put their non football lives on hold to play. Some players take leave from their jobs. Not sure employers will be thrilled. Might have a few sit out due to work commitments which will mean a big gap between end of this season and...

    AFLW Opposition Observation

I know its the way the cookie crumbles sometimes but having so many potentially one sided games in the last round of the season between finals bound teams and those out of the top 6 would not be what the AFL would have been hoping for.

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

Gil Griffin COLLINGWOOD (5-4) v RICHMOND (3-6) (Saturday 3.10 pm, Victoria Park) The Pies last week put quite a scare into Adelaide from after the quarter-time siren to the finish, but came up short. ACL injuries have robbed Collingwood of two of the league’s biggest stars in Bri Davey and...

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

Michael Alvaro Collingwood can put its top six status beyond all doubt on Saturday afternoon as it hosts traditional men’s rival Richmond at Victoria Park. The Magpies currently occupy the last finals spot, but a loss would see them dislodged from postseason honours should the Western Bulldogs...

AFLW Collingwood v Richmond Saturday March 12, 3.10 pm Victoria Park

Avatar Collingwood vs Richmond For Collingwood, the equation is simple: win, play finals and sentence Carlton and the Western Bulldogs to play dead rubbers against Melbourne and the Brisbane Lions later in the round. The Pies had a huge opportunity to seal off the top six but fell just short...

Gemma Bastiani Collingwood v Richmond at Victoria Park, 3.10pm AEDT Collingwood just needs to win in order to secure its place in finals, but that's not such a simple task when coming up against Richmond. The Pies have found more attack over the last fortnight off the back of Ruby...
