Did Reid play up forward, and Francis back? Also Will Kelly was named on a wing but would assume he didn't play there?
EDIT: Only asking because Reid was named at CHB and Francis CHF in the initial team line-up
Does the Neeld reference mean Horse has an ongoing feud with one particular player? Don't know all the details of Neeld's coaching history, except he was shithouse.
Was the +1 near the end of qtrs too? Complete guess but I wonder if that might be when they want one extra back in defence like Heeney and Reid have done so in recent years?
Just watched Kane Cornes talking about Gulden. They showed a clip of the goal he set up for McLean in the 1st qtr. Hadn't noticed last night Gulden starts the movement 10 metres from Swans own goal square. The work rate to get up the ground and support and receive the ball again was amazing.
I've sat near the bench in previous seasons and never seen the 31 sign, or maybe didn't noticed. Might be new this season? Think I can recall 1 and 2 minute signs and maybe a 30 sign, as in seconds?
I had commented a few days ago that Horse was a lot more light hearted in his last few pressers. Smiling and a bit of banter with the journos. A lot less so last night, with good reason. Agree, seemed he was rightly pissed at the Bombers.
This sack of s**t, poor excuse of a football club Essendon trying on all sorts of shenanigans. Don't get sucked in and grind them into the dirt. Hope we can kick away and beat these grubs by 50.
Haven't been watching as much basketball last year or two. Curious what people might think a Paris 12 for the men will look like?

Mills and Ingles still certainties these days? That would be 12.
Would something close to this...
I only follow the Academy kids casually but Cochran's name is the one that has come up most since the start of the season. Good to see doing well. A certainty to be drafted from what I read? And for those that have watched him, he looks a good size but is he also relatively agile?
As good (great?) as Parker, Adams and Mills have been in their careers, I'm liking the flair and mobility and pace of our current midfield. Heeney, Gulden and Warner especially and cameos from Papley add more creativity and athleticism than the aforementioned three in my opinion. Especially...
So? It's the official website of a multi million dollar entity. Should be able to get basic grammar correct. Looks shabby and unprofessional otherwise.
It's not just some bozo like me and you making posts in an informal capacity.
Horse seems a lot more jovial in these last few weeks during press conferences. Of course a very good start to the season will help that but smiling and cracking more jokes than years gone by. Good to see.
Fair bit of debate in the last few weeks here about whether to play two or three tall forwards. I'm curious to find out how much of a game all the three of them are in the forward line together. When you take into account the time spent on the bench for any one of the three, or the time that...
