Jesus!! Liking the Beatles is something to be ashamed of? What - do you only like early stuff such as "Love me do" or "I want to hold your hand" or something? Cause if your friends think you're wierd for liking their later-period stuff (Revolver and afterwards) then I'd tell them to get...
Radiohead recently released the various instrument tracks from their song "Nude" unmixed so that anyone could try their hand at a remix. It is absolute bollocks that they are making people pay to download the unmixed tracks - especially after "No Rainbows" was released for free. But still -...
I've always really liked the band Suede. It's ok to tell girls this, but I never tell guys because they think I must be gay (The album "Dog Man Star" has a picture of Brett Anderson's bum on the cover). In Australia it is seriously un-cool to like androgonous rock if you are over 25... "real...

I own Passengers, and although I don't listen to it a whole lot, I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. Some really great and original tunes on it - especially "Your Blue Room" which is up there with the best U2 songs ever!
Had a bit of a soft spot for Timmy when he was at Geelong. Was always hard at it and starred in the VFL for at least the last 2 seasons. But never got much favour with the team selectors, and David Johnson always seemed to be selected before him.
arsehole never deserved to win over "Creep" (which came in at no. 2) by Radiohead in 1993. If Creep was in this poll - even though it was a number 2 I think it would be close to winning.
Well I didn't know anything about these guys at all, but then I accidently caught them live at some festival around 1996 (forgotten the name) and I was blown away by their stage act. So then I bought Splendor Solis and loved it, and afterwards The Edges of Twighlight. Caught them live a few...
I can't believe how skewered the results of this poll have been. Maybe most people on this board are just young... I think that if Ablett Bartel & Corey were replaced with Bairstow Buddha and Couch last year then we still would have won the grand final by a similar amount.
Ok, I am actually going to say that Couch, Bairstow and Hocking are a better 3-some than Ablett, Bartel & Corey. This may very well change though if A+B+C continue their form of last year for a few more years. Bairstow is the best Geelong centreman I have ever seen and was the clearance king...
Ummmm, isn't Australia much more respected in the world than say, Kuwait? If Australia was attacked, don't you think that most of Europe, the US, Canada, New Zealand, and maybe even Russia and some south American countries would condemn the attacks? Not to mention the UN security council...
Steven King - (vs. Carlton) 18 hit outs, 10 possessions, 2 goals
Tim Callan - (vs. Melbourne) 17 possesions. pretty solid game
Are we going to miss them?
I love the swimming!! To say you don't like it totally un-Australia. The men and women who win swimming medals at the Olympics are our national pride and don't get enough respect. They train 7 days a week for their entire life all for an event that happens only once every 4 years. Where...
Seriously, do we really need such a strong alliance with the USA?? If Australia was attacked by an aggressive country, wouldn't there be a heap of countries willing to help us out anyhow? That is, unless it was during a time of a world war where our potential allies were tied up in other...
MY 5 top Radiohead songs:
1. Where I end and you begin (Hail to the theif)
2. Pyramid Song (Amnesiac)
3. Airbag (Ok Computer)
4. Nice Dream (the Bends)
5. Lurgee (Pablo Honey)
If you like Muse, I also suggest the Bends. Heavier songs such as Just & My Iron Lung should be right...
I can't stand Billy Crystal. Sure, Analyze this! is an okay movie, but City Slickers would have to be amongst the most terrible movies OF ALL TIME!!! There is just nothing funny about it IMO. It's piss-poor comedy for 40-somethings having a mid-life crisis.
Dead Man - 1995 western starring Johnny Depp.
This would have to be one of my favourite films of all time. Its about a guy called William Blake, who accidently commits a murder and finds himself on the run in the wild west. Then he runs into a native Indian who thinks he is the poet William...
Recently I have been surfing the web and reading stuff on the Illuminati and how they intend to dominate the world and make a "New World Order". Of course, I don't believe everything I read and some stuff is really out there... ie - David Icke says that some of the leaders of this world are...
Also probably my favourite player outside of my own team. Never know exactly when he's going to fire, but when he does its always exciting. People rate Voss, Hird and Buckley up there as the top players of the last decade or so, but I wouldn't have Richo too far behind either.
Chris Isaak - Wicked Game
The Church - Under the Milky Way (the only real radio hit they've ever had)
Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You
World Party - Ship of Fools (don't know any other radio songs by them)
