WHE has always had great finesse and today he demonstrated just that and more. He does have valid criticisms concerning his lack of physicality and disposition to go quiet but when he is on he is such a pleasure to watch.
How can you defend Draper when he himself was taking the piss out of it post game. Talk about pulling the wool over your eyes.
GGs what an entertaining match
That was a chain of questionable umpiring decisions. Correct me if i'm wrong but don't you have to wait till the umpire calls time on before you can hand off the ball during a 50 meter penalty?
North are really demonstrating a lot of poise under possession. They're forcing freo to stick a tackle or to pry it out of their hands otherwise they are unfazed by the immediate pressure. It's good because you're drawing the most pressure you can off teammates as well as making every disposal...
The boys were clearly frustrated tonight by how things unfolded. Last year our second half efforts were being rewarded with wins but so far we haven't managed to captivate the same form. You get the sense that we've been studied quite well because have you noticed our link ups in transition are...
Regardless of who instigated a strike is a strike and they'll be BOTH assessed. This * around and find out statement people are saying as if its some poetic justice is cringe as *.
Secondly when you elect to strike someone, which by definition can be a forearm or elbow (another mental...
The naivety of some people thinking this is fairplay when its quite clearly someone trying to drive a player 10 feet into the ground under the guise of being a fair tackle.
As the rules stand it makes sense that he doesn't get suspended but lets not pretend that we can't see whats actually...
if it wasnt collingwood that was leading frees for the same peasants would still be complaining about any other team. it was haw, wb, rich during their premiership years and now potentially us
So excited to watch this game today. Not particularly rooting for either team but when everything is on the line its a given that everyone is going to play their heart out
Not to say Sier is more damaging than Treloar at this stage but I believe his clearance work is already better. It's cleaner, composed but even when he has to make a hack kick off one step he absolutely launches it to the distance where even a clanger isn't as bad the further it goes into our...
Common sense tells us that this should never be allowed, even if not clearly stated in the rules. It doesn't matter to what degree of danger it is, the act of using your feet to gain leverage off an opponent has NEVER been taught or used to any extent besides Toby Greene.
Rules will be amended...
Cox's goal kicking has always had low trajectory and below average distance. It looked like hes probably been doing training involving increasing his distance so hes able to be a forward threat from further out than 30m. I'm seeing a player whos trying to get more distance at the cost of losing...
thats why rance has been one of the best defenders. applies as much physical contact as possible without getting penalised. the art of disrupting the opponents movement/coordination instead of the traditional spoiling the ball
whether or not hes infringing doesnt matter if umps dont blow...
I agree with Scodog - ideally every club wants a fully available list but realistically speaking all clubs deal with injuries. I'll admit losing the likes of Treloar, Dunn and Reid will hurt us but apart from that the rest of the names you mention have contributed peanuts to our clubs success...
