If Buckley’s job was to put his team in a competitive position against much better opposition in the last two weeks, then he’s succeeded in doing that. It’s undeniable he’s won the battle in the coaches box - here’s why
Doesn’t look like an AFL ready footballer at the moment but given our stage of development, you just need to keep playing him as has a really high upside IMO 🤔
Funny how in the space of a month we’ve gone from who are we going to get, to who’s going to go in order to obtain draft capital. Quick demise unfortunately 😕
This week's episode is up! Looking at the disastrous performance against the Giants and how we can turn it around from a game plan and personnel standpoint.
Hey Guys,
I’ve restarted the Collingwood BigFooty Podcast for any fans interested in a listen.
Also on the hunt for any regular or special guests if you’re a Pies fan, or if your team happens to play the Pies on that particular week.
Latest episode looks at the heartbreak against the Lions...

I think the coaching staff are/may be sticking with him longer than a usual player because he does actually have AFL level attributes that can make him a good player. Yes he's been poor, but there's blokes in the AFL that actually bring nothing to the table at that level.
Still unsure why he's back in the forward line, despite his crumbing ability, goalsense and general skill being valuable down there. Still, he's just behind Pendles for me in terms of blokes I want with the pill in their hand. They therefore need to find a way to get it in his hands more often...
Hey Guys
Long time user but haven't posted for ages.
I've just started up a new podcast looking at all things Collingwood. The pilot episode below gives you some more info of what it will be about, as well as going through the win over the Blues, and a preview on tonight's game...
Look I don't mind it, pretty challenging just in general and because of a few issues but I'll play it flat out until I become good. Started a career mode as coach and am 4 rounds in and have lost all 7 games (regular season + JLT). Doesn't mean a lot but the realism of the players and grounds...
Could not have said this any better. We are not a basketcase rabble that is losing by 50+ every week. Every loss has not been a surprise, yet if we won that wouldn't have surprised me either. Our midfield allows us ample opportunity to be competitive and put ourselves in good positions. The...
You have your opinion mate and I respect that. My opinion isn't either way necessarily its just that I can see support for both arguments. I'm a Pies fan, a Golden State Warriors fan in the NBA and I love Nick Kyrgios and Stuart Broad as athletes. All four of these clubs/athletes people love to...
I do agree with you in most aspects however you have to be concerned with the shooting for goal. I know its a league wide issue but we are seriosuly bad as the statistics suggest. We currently average 24.6 scoring shots which is still pretty low but regardless of rushed behinds and whatever else...
I would like to point out that I'm certainly not of the opinion that Bucks should definitely stay. Like everyone else my support of him has decreased over time and I'm now at a point where I consider both arguments pretty equally. Although the opening post favours and supports him, this is...
To
To be fair 14th in disposal efficiency is mentioned but the fact we are somehow only 13th in clangers means that adding that stat would have been pointless
Blaming Bucks not Clear-cut
There’s no doubt that the fortunes of a playing group are the ultimate responsibility of the senior coach and those in charge. Following Collingwood’s disappointing loss on ANZAC Day against the bombers, the pressure has grown immensely to a stage where Pies fans are...
