No doubt our list profile is one of the worse in the comp and we absolutely need to mail the next two drafts to see significant uprise to say we have no prospects is plain wrong
Pretty simple we won’t be into Jackson who is he supposed to ruck the ball to ? A crippled aging midfield like ours? We need midfielders midfielders and more midfielders.
Different story if we had even just Raz, Johnson and serong like Fremantle but we don’t. In fact if I was freo I wouldn’t...
In my opinion
-Post Covid and uncertain times people probably aren’t going to live sports as much
-Increased professionalism players are fitter and able to cover more ground less space on offer
-coaches will look to stem scoring first it’s not a new phenomenon sports are trending this way
-...
No doubt Nisbitt is a shrewd financial operator and has good business connections. But West coast Eagles now just prints money it’s an established financial powerhouse like a lessor Man Utd. Success is the best way to continue printing money. We should be using our financial muscle to get the...
We need blue chip midfield prospects you only get 1-3 can’t miss if that a year. This year I’d only class Ashcroft and wardlaw in that bracket don’t play silly buggers just go with wardlaw look at trading down if we finish second last or something
Regardless how s**t we have been recently we have history of being a successful club and not bottoming out for too long we are too rich for prolonged periods at the bottom. The power brokers will expect results after a couple years especially if it starts to hurt the bottom dollar. 2/3 crap...
I’d seriously just hold the pick this year our whole engine room needs gutting and replacing assuming we finish second last go for tstatas, Wardlaw, Hewett try sneak broadbent with our second rounder then go best available mids. Another shite year pick up some more gun talent.
People seriously underestimate his craft with the ball. Given how he started his variation, drift and bowling nous has come on a heap. Comfortably the best spinner in Australia and we will struggle to replace him in a couple years time
Border is probably the most important figure in Australian cricket since don bradman his legacy extends far beyond his playing days and the fruits of the domination in the 90’s to late 2000’s and the last 3/5 years of Australian cricket has his finger prints all over it
You know nothing about OP if you think that is the case. OP is a very complex injury and management and recovery times will change with every case of it.
27k is the actual cap if you include ground staff ect. But I would expect more personally have a feeling people are still a bit hesitant but a grand final is a once in lifetime event if it's hosted I'd expect demand to far outstrip supply
Possibly and some off field stuff. I mean I'm al oong way from an expert but Jack still remains on of the best underage footballers I've seen play even against men
I vividly remembered one game he played for west Perth kicked 6 or seven goals absolutely ragdolled men. I remember thinking at the time gee this guy is good going top 10 defo.
I still don't get how he slid so far. Was about as blue chip as a prospect as you could get proven at WAFL league level good size ect. Shouldn't of been available at pick 20 let alone 26
