    Player Watch #44 Sydney Stack

Managing Sydney in a way that will not hinder his confidence will be a tricky task, but this is why coaches are paid good money. Its obvious he has talent... but couple that with his abundance of confidence has been key to producing his form thus far. Couldn't be happier with him on the list...

    Player Watch #44 Sydney Stack

When I read the story in the paper i was so excited i had to create this thread (apologies if its done incorrectly). If anyone else was like me they were avidly wishing we would select this kid with every pick after our first. The way he has made it to an AFL list is extremely endearing IMO. Our...

    Player Watch #44 Sydney Stack

Article in the West Australian reads - Stack to receive a lifeline from Richmond. Sydney Stack was one of the most high profile names overlooked in yesterdays drafts. The weekend west understands Richmond is poised to invite Perth mid to train at the club in the coming weeks. It is believed...

Mega Thread 2018 List Management, Free Agency & Trade thread

Born and bred West Australian here, really want Freo to become successful - Interested to know what this board would rather. - Pick 4 and Mitch McGovern - Jessie Hogan Obviously loose pick 5 and Lachie Neale in both scenarios. IMO i think adding another gun mid to Cerra and Brayshaw is really...

Phantom Draft Bishop's 2017 Draft Thread

mmmm nope. Ref quote from fox footy "The speedy midfielder is ultra tough, loves winning his own footy and provides plenty of burst from the contest."

Just posted on Bishops draft board.. I'd be stoked if we took Bailey at 17. Honestly looks better than Dow to me, though i'm just a nuffy behind a keyboard. Gee Bailey and Graham in the Midfield would compliment each other greatly.

Phantom Draft Bishop's 2017 Draft Thread

Bishop what has Paddy Dow got that Bailey hasn't? Is it just upside as Paddy is taller and yet to fill out? Bailey is a huge gun and i for one wouldn't be disappointed if Richmond chose him above Brander.

Really like the look of O'Brien. Had a few injury niggles this year so didn't show full potential. Really not sold on Brander.. Something about him says Todd Elton. My ideal 3 picks are 17-O'Brien, 20-Ballard, 25-Balta/Petty.

Ben Lennon still keen to stay at Richmond

Do you think... he's still keen to stay at Richmond??

How did you spend Grand Final day/night?

Watched the game in a quiet room by myself - After the game went to the casino with my mates. Woke up the next morning less $3k with the best worst hangover i've ever had.

    List Mgmt. 2017 draft thread

We really nailed our 3 picks last year. If we do the same this year we are going to be finals bound for a long stretch. I know people are crying out for talls but my wish list is (Nick Murphy; Ed Richards; Naish). All will be great roll players and they are the type to take with late first/early...

List Mgmt. 2017 Trade Free Agency and List Management Watch Part 3

This remonstrates my thoughts exactly. If he didnt give his GWS list manager mates back ally massages (are they any good Wally Matera ?) he would be nothing. Everyone says he does a great job, haven't seen him get anyone from a real club.

SOSS is such a scumbag. He thinks being all high and mighty, waiting until the last minute to get marginally more value will work in his favour. Glad they haven't got anything done yet and hope they miss one of Lang/Kennedy because it will be squarely his fault.

List Mgmt. 2017 Trade Free Agency and List Management Watch Part 3

Anyone know what the Gibbs deal is looks like? Honestly pick 16 and a 3rd rounder gets it done and if SOSS doesn't like it he can go and get thumbed by his hot wife. Hope Adelaide hold firm and make him squirm this time

    Player Watch #3: Dion Prestia

Just looked at the numbers - We gave up pick 6 (1,751 points) and upgraded pick 35 to pick 24 which is a gain of 263 points (excluding the fact pick 35 could end up at 37-39) which means we basically paid pick 10 value for Dion. Definitely worth it.

Bishop what are your thoughts on Nathan Murphy and Ed Richards? I like these guys. Both have pace, skills and grit. Be over the moon if we kept both firsts and took them

    Player Watch #3: Dion Prestia

Well said THE_GUN - What i have been saying but you did the math and laid it all out for people to see. Even if Prestia continues his current form for the rest of his contract, it was still a smart decision. In all likelihood he improves considerably over the next few years. Great football club...

Right you are yellowandblack21 .. I'll bet my left nut that Jack Graham wouldn't have been there at 60 either considering Brisbane and Carlton had picks between 53 and 60

    Player Watch #3: Dion Prestia

lets be 100% clear. We gave up pick 7 and 30ish (in a shallow draft) for Prestia and pick 24 which we traded for Caddy and the pick that netted us Graham.. So we gave up pick 7, 30ish for Prestia, Caddy and Graham.......... I had to pause half way through typing this to stroke myself.

List Mgmt. 2017 Trade & Free Agency Watch Part 2

For all those saying we need to go hard at bringing in good talent and trade our first rounders just look at the below team. In my opinion we are a great side and though lack tall depth first rounders aren't needed to fix this! What about Elliott Himmelberg at Adelaide - We were linked to him...

List Mgmt. 2017 Trade & Free Agency Watch Part 2

Would really like Preuss from North. True gritty competitor. Basically a younger Casbolt with better skills and significant upside. Trouble is i don't want to give a first rounder for him nor a second rounder in next years draft because its touted to be quite deep. I really think a win/win in...

    Player Watch #3: Dion Prestia

Prestia was touted as the best young mid in the comp when he finished 2nd to Gaz in the fairest and best. I have seen PLENTY of his games and though always been a tiger, loved tuning in to watching this kid play. Look at Grigg - had a couple of disastrous seasons but is playing damn good footy...

    Player Watch #3: Dion Prestia

Bit of perspective - I remember seeing Prestia in full flight and thinking he is definitely an A grade mid. Look at players like Treloar – He didn’t have an interrupted preseason and didn’t really hit his straps in his first year with Collingwood. The best comparison to be made is Shared...
