That was the worst game I've seen for a while. Lucky to get away with that. Our defence was diabolical at times and I deadset wanted to inflict some temporarily uncomfortable misery on a couple of them. But we got the 4 points. We found a way to win.

I suspect there may also be a bit of a FOMO snowball effect - we saw how tough it was for non members (and even members sometimes) to get tix to some matches later in the year. As we get more members, I think it will push more people into buying memberships if they plan on attending matches...

When, despite all the evidence that the team is a hard working, reliable, tough and resilient group, you're still permanently convinced they're going to s**t their pants and lose the impossible. Or is that just anyone under 50?
