Can someone tell me wtf Gaff is doing. Have him in a multi like an idiot but the guy is literally running away from the play and not offering anything. The players don't even want to kick to him? Gee whiz
My point is on gameday he was the break glass option. His selection as emergency is a different q. I'm not sure what the numbers on this would be, but it seems like taking players as traveling emergencies for the experience is pretty common? Rewards good form in the twos? Hugh Jackson similar...
Hard agree on all of that.
Kicked a couple of clutch goals for us at times too - Bomb from outside 50 in the 2014 prelim vs Hawthorn comes to mind.
Not every player needs to be on the bottom of packs. Players that make the AFL and are 'soft' don't tend to play too much
JHF will get bigger in time, but I think the comparison is most apt due to breakaway speed from contest being their biggest strength.
Acceleration and ability to bust out of a pack is a highly prized trait in the league and Dangerfield has built his whole career on doing it.
I don't think...
JHF nice broken tackle and burst from stoppage on the wing his only highlight.
Watching him off the ball the dude was walking/slow jogging hands on hips style... like carn it's a trial but you'd think he'd offer a bit more... hoping for more in practice matches
Bigfooty's own Jed McEntee was...
JHF pulled up lame after a few contests
You'd be stoked on his game if you confused him for Bergman like the commentators are doing every time he touches it
Better junior career doesn't always equal better output in the AFL, surely being facetious there...
Like how tf do we know pick 70 will be better than Evans? Do we watch hundreds of hours of junior footage? Interview the kids and their families?
But nah let's look at TOG %, for the Bendigo...
Turn it up pal..
tbh mate I'm happy to give Evans a run and will back him in as a player
Just calling out how odd it is for you (a hawthorn fan???) to jump on THIS thread of all threads to make a stand about the morals of an oppo fanbase
