    Wolves or Nuggets are tough match ups. Be disappointed if we bow out against the Wolves but we have made immense progress this season. Hopefully today was just a rusty one for us offensively and we snag game 2 to level it 1-1, go 0-2 down heading to Minnesota would not be good.

    Yeah I’d be looking to offload 1 of Martinez or De Ligt, both injury prone, then you have young Yoro who also seems to be quite injury prone too. With Casemiro and Ugarte going we need big investments in midfield, and yeah a new RB & LB.

    We play the G pretty well these days. The Pies are a well structured outfit who extract every bit of effort out of themselves each week, you can’t fault their endeavour. We ‘should’ be to good for them but let’s see. Their efficiency against the Hawks won’t be repeated, that was freakish.

    That went pretty much how the GF did. 36-35 our way at HT, skipped out to a 17pt 3QT lead late, then piled on goals and put on a clinic in the last. Plenty to work on, we have issues that must be addressed for our next 3 games, they’re 3 massive ones.

    Look at Sydney last year after they were walloped in the GF. History tells you teams who cop a hiding in a GF often lose the plot the following year. If we don’t lift and win this game, with a tough month of matches coming up, we could be in strife.

    Great to have CL football back next season, but I really do fear Carrick will get the full time gig, and with more games next season this squad is not going to cut it, could go south very quickly if we don’t heavily invest in the summer window.

    Hard to be up every week, however tonight was a shocker, literally not in it at all, beaten in all areas of the game. We’ll see how we’re looking after round 12 but I suspect we’ll be in the logjam fight of 5-10th.
