I am a fan of Mini personally! I hope he gets the gig...I feel he has the players support and I like the way he deals with media.
I reckon he deserves a chance as much as anyone.
Has all the attributes of a great coach.
I agree...we are a real threat this year. I feel we have a team capable of being even better than our previous flag teams> overall talent wise...we have a great blend of mature and young players. Last night was the most lopsided draw I have ever seen. We dominated and once we get rolling...the...
This!
I remember working with my dad, after school around 1980....we installed ducted heating and cooling.
I found some old newspapers that were from around 1910.
One of the articles that jumped out at me, was complaining about the kids of the day and how they were growing up lazy and entitled...
From all reports, Geelong were interested in Bowes himself and not just pick 7.
If that is the case then they are absolutely paying him the 1.6, so probably around 2.4 for the 4 years would be my guess.
Could not have said it better myself!
At half time, I thought I would read some of the game day thread, expecting plenty of positives, but no.....one comment called Trent Cotchin a faux tough guy.... woefully embarrassing comment to say the least. Our greatest ever captain since Dyer and one of...
Fantastic effort by the tiges!! All I have to say is that to call Trent Cotchin, a three time premiership captain and our greatest ever since Jack Dyer (Captain Blood) and one of the toughest tigers to ever play the game, a faux tough guy, is truly one of the most embarrassing comments, I have...
Looking forward to seeing who we pick tonight, especially getting Maurice Jr.
I am also a proud relative of Jamarra Ugle-Hagen, so it will be a great night for many...including all the kids and their families who will find a home in the AFL tonight.
Just wish Jamarra was coming to the Tiges!
I haven't had a chance to read the thread....so forgive me if it has been mentioned numerous times already. In my opinion, apart from our inaccuracy for goal.
We lost this game, by not playing Optimus Grimes on Toby Greene.
Grimes has clearly had his measure, in recent outings, including the...
I agree, life long Tiger fan and love Dusty....but Gary Ablett Snr is without doubt the best player I have ever seen. I am 51 and I lived in Geelong for a few years( mid to late 80s), when he was at his peak and he was truly something else. Dusty matches him for ground level play, however Ablett...
Brilliant!!
If I was the AFL....I would even take it a step further and admit to Geelong that the way it is, is in fact unfair.
Geelong is the only Victorian team that gets to play their home games at their original home ground, which obviously gives them an unfair advantage and virtually...
I just wanted to comment on the Afl segment, Colour of your jumper. I have to say that I really enjoy it.
I have a some indigenous heritage on my Mother's side and want to say that I really appreciate seeing more and more indigenous presence on the AFL website.
It is good to see our indigenous...
It was an amazing performance!! Though I do recall Rance doing something similar against Sydney in round 23 2014, to get us into the finals. Having said that, I think that Grimes will now finally get the recognition he deserves and barring injury may earn his first all Australian guernsey this year.
I think that he will continue to play wherever he likes, depending on how he feels and where we need him at the time.
He seems to know when to go forward at the most critical points of a match and being able to go forward at anytime, allows him to take taggers into deep water and drown them...
