Not having a go, but every fan of every team says/thinks this. Our emergencies over the weekend were two teenagers and a utility who hasn't played a game of AFL nor VFL since round 2. I know you said 'by the end of the year', but we'll have the same amount of injuries then as we do now.

Feel the same way. It was his best game of the year, so you give him props for that. But he also wasn't great. And I'm starting to think that's how his career may end up. He's just an okay ruck.

Agree to an extent, but you can't keep Caddy in the VFL until Stringer retires. I think we'll end up giving him (Stringer) a two-year deal. I just don't see Zurhaar as a need. I'd rather try to find replacements for a few of our defenders who are getting older, personally.

I hope this is the week we see Hayes come in for Lav. He's been in better form for a number of weeks now.

Yeah, I like Zurhaar - but he just doesn't fit. I'm not even sure you can play Caddy in the same side as Wright, Langford, Stringer and Jones.

They're also 20 and professional athletes. I don't think a late(ish) night or early morning is going to bother them too much. Agree it's not exactly ideal prep, but just being in that real AFL environment would have it's benefits.

Agree with that single change. Big Laverde fan, but Hayes has over-taken him form-wise. I think we need the height back there too.

Right now, just my own opinion, I'd keep him in if Ridley and Reid come back. I'd take Kelly over Lav & Heppell.
