    Buller didn’t have a pre-season and when he finally got his body ready to test it out, the reserves had those double byes. Going to take a while for the guy to get some run into those legs and start playing some consistent footy.

    You’re kidding yourself if you think Goss gets to ask the questions he wants. WC vet every question before any pre-planned interview. Listening to anyone interviewed that is financially tied to the club is a waste of time.

    Surely AFL academies can still exist in non-football states and provide the same talent identification and development targets without being directly aligned to/benefiting any AFL club. The AFL is indirectly paying for the system already regardless.

    And that is the real issue with the club. No body has been watching the clock. Nisbett's time was probably up after the move to Optus, the Lathlain development and the 2018 Premiership.

    Mate, that's exactly what they will be doing now and not in 12 months. Once they find one and appoint him/her, they will have a transition period where Nisbett exits and the new CEO takes over the operations.
