Nah, probably fair enough... can't kick people, no matter the impact.
**Editing this due to my comment re: impact... I feel any act like that is deserving of a match. Grading wise, it was probably low impact and should be a fine.
Hmmmm, I was 100% on the intentional/2-3 week bandwagon before seeing the shot of him reaching down toward the ball... no-one intentionally going for a bump would lower their arm like that (although maybe the modern player is more cunning than I thought).
I feel silly for replying to this... but I'm not. I have not addressed the incident at all (nor have you). I've merely been replying to your obvious trolling. You will not hear anymore from me. have a good night :)
Sorry, the 'I'm not getting into this' comment was meant to be reflect that I didn't want to engage in discussion/debate on the incident in question - wooosh
Edit - but obviously was to let other readers understand the intent of my original comment (i.e. your misinformation)
Maybe I misunderstood, but I was under the impression you can show disbelief in a call if the action is to self (raise arms, looking up to God for example), however, doing that action while looking at an umpire will result in a penalty.
I would need to see specifics - but I watched 50 odd times throughout this weekend where rasing your arms wasn't called a umpire abuse/50m... however, when raising the arms and yelling something to the umpire was paid. For me, I think the umps allow raising of the arms in disbelief of a call...
It's probably a week, however, given that the concussion rule is now a 12 day break from playing, the penalty should probably reflect that, which would obviously make it a minimum two week penalty for all instances like this.
Is this even a thing? wouldn't being replaced at the last minute still be considered out of the side?... unless you just mean having the ability to be there at all, in which case, I'm pretty sure they could easily give any number of players/people a supporting role that would provide them access...
I thought that too but I think this means no go.... "A Free Kick will not be awarded where the football has been kicked and, after the field Umpire has heard the siren, lands Out of Bounds On the Full."
