Coach Hamish Hartlett - AFL contest, stoppage and opposition assistant coach

Maybe he does have the tank for coaching after all.😏

List Mgmt. 2026 Mid Season Draft - 26 May (Picks after Round 8: 4, 12)

Carr doesn't want douchebags around the club.

Player Watch SSP (2025) - Josh Lai

Cannot wait for Lai to use his speed.

    List Mgmt. List Management 2026-27

I believe it was revealed shortly after the draft in an article by Cal that Freo was always keen on Reid despite being linked to Berry.

Coach Josh Carr - AFL Senior Coach

David King on first cracked praised Josh Carr with the ball movement and transition of the team. Also pointed out that Jase Burgoyne, Zak Butters and JHF are good kicks inside 50 with Jase being ranked #1, Zak ranked #4 and JHF ranked #12.

James Hird even pointed out the lack of awareness by Port in the 40 seconds of the game.

He has the unique blend of speed and endurance. :smirk:

If Carr was coaching in 2025, I highly doubt he would have given the okay to trade out a 1st rounder for Lukosius assuming Ken and Port parted ways after the preliminary finals lost rather than waiting until it’s too late.

    Multicultural programs perhaps.

Player Watch Pick #38 (2024) - Christian Moraes

Maybe Moraes is the 23rd player.

    That’s a Lai.😏

Preview Changes v Bulldogs Fri May 8th, 740pm.

Is it strange that I am feeling optimistic for the next four games? I feel Port can win against Bulldogs and GC.

Player Watch Pick #16 (2016) - Todd Marshall

Marshall didn’t look 100% back. Probably shouldn’t have played if that was the case but I think it’s saying something if Carr would rather play Marshall over BZT.

    Review Showdown 59

This is where footy IQ comes into play. I don’t think the players knew how to close the game. Sweet trying to belt the ball to space to the midfield consisting of two plodders and Butters with him on the furthest side of the centre square when JHF needed to be in the middle to at least have a...

Player Watch Welcome to Port Adelaide Jacob Wehr - Unrestricted Free Agent (GWS)

Wehr just isn’t creative and dynamic. He can run but doesn’t have express pace and he is slight as well. He is a depth player. Need someone like Farrell to play on the wing.

    Tell Georgiades that.😏

Coach Josh Carr - AFL Senior Coach

It’s going to become an interesting second half of the season once the cavalry arrives. I wonder what the team will look once Rozee, Esava, SPP come into the team and the likes of Ramm, T.Cochrane and Liddy etc. push for selection.

    List Mgmt. List Management 2026-27

I think had Soldo passed his medical at St Kilda, Port would have drafted Dodson with pick 45 or something rather than trading it to move up a spot since Freo were always keen for Reid.

Player Watch Pick #16 (2016) - Todd Marshall

Marshall was caught ball watching instead of lining up against his man and cost two goals.

Player Watch Pick #33 (2024) - Jack Whitlock

Cannot wait to see him fill out those shoulders and have some muscle mass on his frame. Will take clunking them soon enough.

Player Watch Pick #15 (2024) - Joe Berry

Starting to see Berry use his pace and his finishing is the icing on the cake.
  26. P

Coach Josh Carr - AFL Senior Coach

Sweet trying to belt the ball, Midfield set up consisting of Wines, Drew and Butters, Butters not taking on the tackle and instead blind kick it, Durdin not tackling well enough and get Milera to have incorrect disposal to not having enough on the outside which allowed Cook to kick the winning...

Watching it again, Butters probably should have absorbed body contact rather than kicking it when Bergman handballed it.

Player Watch Pick #18 (2019) - Mitch Georgiades

He has no issues with the distance. I have seen him nail shots from 50m on more difficult angles comfortably than directly in front.
