Opinion Stop Blaming Umpires. Stop blaming the Rule Makers.... It's time to blame the Coaches.

What do you want coaches to do? Not try to exploit every tactical advantage they can? That’s their job. Been doing it for 160 years, and it happens in every single sport.

    Rumour Dusty to Sydney?

Til his injury he was in the best handful on the ground against Brisbane last year. He was also very good at Dreamtime and dragged us across the line against GWS in R9ish.

Autopsy AFL 2022 Round 2 - Tigers v Giants Sun March 27th 3:20pm AEDT (MCG)

Maybe if GWS were a bit more disciplined like us they wouldn’t have given away so many free kicks.

The kick-in rule was the best rule change in recent memory

How many goals per game are generated via kick ins? How many prior to the rule change?

The kick-in rule was the best rule change in recent memory

Early in the year in good weather with everyone playing with excitement the game always looks better. It takes a couple of months the for the excitement to wear off, the grounds to slow down, and then the state of the game complainers to return. That is the true test of the rule. It’s been in...

The kick-in rule was the best rule change in recent memory

Strongly disagree. The middle of the ground is where scoring plays are least likely to be generated. Turnover is the dominant scoring source in the game, and the closer to goal you can force a turnover the more likely you are to score from it. Now teams set back and get the turnover backward of...

NO TROLLS What is the actual case against COVID Vaccination?

Numbers have been presented all along but a certain group of people are unwilling to see them. This thread asks for a case against. 28 pages in and none have been provided.

NO TROLLS What is the actual case against COVID Vaccination?

28 pages and still no actual case against it. At best a case that for younger people it is only clearly beneficial, and not absolutely obviously beneficial.

Because the flu is much, much less infectious than COVID. I can’t believe we are two years into the pandemic and there are still some who think it’s just the flu.

I am not quite sure what WAs end game is - though admittedly I have not watched any of their pressers or read up too much. The justification for delaying the reopening is because modelling was based on delta, now we have omicron. But omicron isn’t going to go away. I can understand the desire to...

So How Dangerous is COVID Really?

Under almost no restrictions the Reff was approximately 1 in both Victoria and NSW. Delta has an estimated R0 of around 5-8. In an unvaccinated society.

    Mandatory Vaccinations And Medical Exemptions

It doesn’t grow near the rate that a virus does. Changes in rates of heart disease happen slowly over time and can be relatively easily dealt with by expanding hospitals. The same cannot be said for COVID.
