Well i just found out that Hamish Brayshaw got delisted, but will be redrafted if he is available.
I wanted to see him make a debut and hope he gets another shot
I agree. I think with 18 teams in the comp, there should just be 18 rounds of footy and everyone plays each other once.
Some teams will get a lucky draw where they play say 2 or 3 of the weaker sides twice under the current format, and this is wrong
then West coast will get 11 straight games at Optus Stadium. Vic clubs already kick up a stink when they have to travel, not realising how much travel West Coast have to do.
Well Adam Simpson and his coaching staff will be preparing the players for all this and they just have to deal with it.
well we were given an ANZAC day blockbuster against Hawthorn and I was hoping that it was at the MCG because i live in melbourne. I can't believe they will make us go to Tassie. Absolute BS
something tells me that Mutimer is going to get delisted.
I was hoping that Matthew Allen would have been given a chance along with Hamish Brayshaw and there are no certainties on what will happen to these guys
it's going to be tough even with an elite player like tim Kelly coming in
if Kennedy does get a solid pre season, he may perform at a high level and retirement could be put on hold.
Nick Riewoldt played until his mid 30s, so im sure it is possible for JK to do the same
Yeah it is hard when he leaves your team especially with how well he has performed.
IMO both west coast and Geelong got deals which i thought were fair and a win-win for both sides. Geelong will still be up there as they have a war chest entering the draft
landing TK will come at the cost of high draft picks and with hurn and schoefield and Kennedy nearing the end, it may be challenging regenerating the list.
Shaun Burgoyne turns 38 next year which means some players can keep going, but it's rare these days
Chris Scott would go as far as taking cheap shots. a bit unethical just because TK has asked to be traded to a team that Geelong don't want him to go to
OK so apparently Geelong are reluctant to deal with us with Tim Kelly because they fear he may possibly be the missing piece to west coasts premiership hopes.
well he already nominated WC, and they ( Geelong) will have to negotiate with them whether they like it or not. Fremantle will unlikely...
JK will be done after 2020 so replacing him will be challenge and it was lucky we got him a premiership medallion before he retired. Gonna miss the champ when he's gone
ruck stocks will be a challenge to replace as nic nat will be 30 soon.
our long accurate kickers in hurn and jetta will be...
will be interesting to see if the deal can can get done on Monday.
2 first round draft picks and 1 future first round pick should hopefully get it done. As to how much bargaining power Geelong have, im not sure
According to Fox Footy, they seem pretty confident that Tim Kelly will be playing under Adam Simpson.
Hell, I'll be on holidays this week overseas and i wont hear the outcome of The trade deals until later
Chris Scott is driving a hard bargain. If Kelly does in fact nominate us, it gives us a small upper hand but not a big one. If we have to give up a player so be it
so it is said that kelly will request a trade to west coast. so they better make sure they facilitate it and that fremantle dont get him
imo picks 13 and 22 and maybe a player or a future first round pick will be a good option?
