We were flat but the Crows couldn’t do a thing wrong out there today. Nailed all their shots from all angles and the 50/50 balls bounced in their laps. Thought we looked likely in the 2nd Qtr but had to chase the game after that.
Can’t wait for Max to be back.

After being witches hats last week, North were always going to really tighten up this week.
Loved Stockers game. Skilful and tough.
30 points a comfortable win in the end and hopefully we’re all healthy heading over to Adelaide.

Some good Saints stuff in the video here.

I’m not sold on him as a player but if an Irishman is going to be homesick living in St Kilda, then they will never settle anywhere else other than home.

I think Ross would be a great choice if he is 100% commited but I hope we do our due diligence on any skeletons in the closet from his Freo days. Some nasty stories getting around from towards the end of his tenure there.

I really like that he isn’t another ex Hawthorn bloke. A bit of an outsider that will hopefully have some fresh ideas. Great appointment.

The line is 26.5. I think we should be able to have enough to cover that.
Crouch and Steele in the wet with Paddy and Marshall should give us some sort of advantage in the centre you would hope.
Think we hang in till 3/4 time and lose by 19 points.
I watch a bit of the Swans. Their small forwards are a big reason they can score heavily. Obviously Papley is the main one but Wicks is lively as well. Heeney looked great back in and plays almost as another tall being so good overhead.
They love a long bomb to Buddy. Intercept a lot of those...
McKernan in is the logical move. Ryder there means he just has to play his role.
I feel we threw him in the deep end with too much ruckwork early in the year.
Battle is a natural forward and as others have said, he was key in bringing the ball to the ground and halving contests all game.
There will be games where he gets a good matchup and can slot 3-4 as a reward.
As soon as the ball hits the ground in our defensive 50, we are all at sea.
Geary and Patons absence being felt more than we think.
10 day break into Port means hopefully a Ryder/Marshall combo in.

It was great to see billboards with the Saints membership ads on them on Toorak Rd and also Nepean Hwy over the last few days. Love seeing our stuff in the heartland.
