    Four re-sign

I've only seen a handful of reserves games, but I liked what I saw from Smith. Big boy and can kick a goal.

Review Round 9, 2022 - Adelaide vs. Brisbane Lions

I was worried for about 30 minutes, but this is a resilient group. Fun fact - this is the best ever start to a season for the Lions. Previous best was in the 40's when we were called the Gorillas 🤔

Preview Brisbane Lions V Adelaide Crows - Adelaide Oval Sat 14th May, 7:40pm (EST)

Hopefully Hipwood comes back as strongly as Rayner has.

Wowee. Gotta love a 100 point win! Lions are are a legit premiership favourite 😁👍

Game Day Round 3, 2022 - Brisbane Lions vs. North Melbourne

Cockatoo looks like a serious difference for us this year. Quality pick-up.

Unofficial Preview Preseason game - Western Bulldogs v Brisbane Lions, Friday 4 March, 7:20 PM @ Marvel Stadium

Wow. That was a surprisingly high quality preseason game. Both teams clearly cared. Probably hurting from last season. Lions are ready to rock from rd1 imo 👍

Cockatoo looks like a star. Him being fit could be a difference this season.

Yeah. Seems acceptable in the ruck but poor around the ground

Finally we pick a ruck. Every chance he'll get games in 2021

List Mgmt. 2020 Draft (December 9) discussion thread

Not watching that closely, sorry. I love draft night but covid has ruined it for me this year. Did Collingwood just burn their 2021 draft on a failed Coleman bid? Or am I reading that wrong?

List Mgmt. Morning, Joe! (was The Daniher (Probably Mega-)thread)

Great video. Thanks Joe 👍 Also great for the sponsors to get that kind of coverage. Those three in our background (NEDS in particular) all came onboard when we sucked. Nice to see a bit of faith repaid.

Preview 2nd Preliminary Final: Brisbane Lions vs Geelong Cats @ The Gabba, Sat Oct 17th, 6:40pm AEST

I can't believe how nervous I am. 3 days out and I'm shitting bricks!!! Last time we were here I was in my early 20's and I just expected wins from that mighty team with Vossy, Black and Aker. It's so much different this time around 🤞

Preview Cause for Optimism - Finals 2020

Excellent OP 3KZ 👍 I honestly think we're due against the Tiges. The last 2 games at the Gabba we dominated the first half but couldn't convert. Now is our time, kick straight and we'll be up by 6 goals at half time and we don't lose from there. Andrews and Berry back. We should be favourites 🦁

Autopsy AFL 2020 Round 18 - North v Eagles Thurs September 17th 7:10pm AEST (Metricon) Match Highlights in OP

Another terrible game at Metricon. I don't know why, but that ground brings out the worst in everyone. Please don't play finals there AFL...

Preview Round 15 2020 - Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood, The Gabba, Friday September 4th @ 7:50 PM

The insanity of our Melbourne members... I'm a Tassie member and 3 time September member (this year included) . Will I buy my tickets if they are offered? Of course not. That would be recalcitrant. I can't go. Good luck to our QLD cousins 👍

Preview Round 15 2020 - Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood, The Gabba, Friday September 4th @ 7:50 PM

Congrats to Keidean. Good to see another academy boy coming through 👍 Witherden is a worry, massive ball magnet and brilliant at his best. Needs to toughen up though.

Autopsy AFL 2020 Round 12 - Cats v Port Fri August 14th 7:50pm AEST (Metricon) Match Highlights in OP

This is a huge game, the two form teams of the comp imo. Whoever wins, I'll back into a GF berth. Both teams ticking every box so far this season.

Preview Round 10 2020, Richmond vs Brisbane Lions, Metricon Stadium, Tuesday 4th August

Absolutely rapt for Jack Payne. Based on a few NEAFL games that I saw 2 years ago he deserves it 👍 He's there to play against their third tall, so most likely Chol. Which is crazy - they will have grown up together. How do we not have Chol? Apparently a 50's pick was too much 🤔 But I digress...

Review Round 9, 2020 - Brisbane Lions vs. Essendon

Best part of that win for me? We had four soldiers out, and brought four in. All four did their jobs. That is a team 👍 Arguing about their relative merits is secondary.

Preview Round 9 2020, Essendon vs Brisbane Lions, Metricon Stadium, Friday 31st July

Interesting game. It's the first time in a fair while that the "second stringers" have been given a chance. Will we keep up our winning form? Will Skinner or Ballenden kick some goals? Will the small defenders out-perform their more fancied team mates? If we don't take a backwards step this week...

Fair call, I'm clearly living in the past a bit lol. Skinner the next man in over the last few weeks 👍

Unofficial Preview Changes v Bombers, Metricon Friday night.

Big chance for whoever gets a game in place of McStay. Based on the emergency lists recently Ballenden seems like next off the rank, but plenty here advocating for Skinner. Question for reserves watchers, who's been playing his lead up to the wing role in the two's?

Preview Round 8, Melbourne versus the Brisbane Lions

That's an interesting stat. I was thinking Stef had been down this year, but 7 possies is way down on his usual output. Archie can probably do half that on a bad day. Free kicks could be a problem, Archie gives 'em away in the wrong spots sometimes.

Preview Round 8, Melbourne versus the Brisbane Lions

I was probably more worried about the ruck situation in this game before Stef got injured. Gawn normally smashes us, at least Archie can compete/jump in the ruck contests to try and hold even in that one aspect. Stef is an advantage for us against rucks where he can compete at bounces then kill...

    Carlton v Lions

Darcy Gardner is a genuine A-grader these days. Him and Harris are a serious 1-2 punch.

News Deathride 2020 - Port Adelaide 1st Rounder (the others traded in draft carry on)

Seems like a pretty good deal on the face of it. Swap picks 52 and 55 to get 29. Swap a late first this year for a speculative, deat riding first next year. Randomly swap 72 for 71 🤔 We needed to do something or we're just throwing draft value away for nothing. We still have 3 second-rounders...

Analysis 2020 Fixture - Thoughts and guesses

Hey Dylan, I understand the frustration, when a deal is signed everyone should expect it to be honoured. But the sad fact is that the AFL spat on that deal before the ink was dry. But don't take your frustration out on the club for promoting itself, what else is it supposed to do as a...

Review Round 22, 2019 - Brisbane Lions vs. Geelong

So my boss is an annoyingly fervent Tigers supporter. I really want to rub a Lions win in to his face as hard as is humanly possible! Assuming we win, who can help me with an FU video with awesome highlights and music and stuff? Before Monday preferably 😁
