My biggest concern is that, for all of our 'obsession with midfielders', I still don't think we have the makings of a premiership-winning midfield. Losing Thomas and JHF has absolutely gutted our top-end clearance stocks to the point where its LDU or bust. I like Simpkin and Wardlaw but neither...
Kyron didn't fail because of the achilles though. His athleticism looked pretty good after (as good as ever), just lacked any composure and struggled to read the play- don't think we ever saw him use his leap at AFL or VFL level.
Sam Lowson. He's a jet, but is 29 and lacks a bit of polish. I'd love to see him get a shot at a contender, or even with us if he's tearing it up mid-season, but probably unlikely at this point.
His attack on the ball in marking contests is probably already the best on our list. A little undersized, but he has a great leap, positions himself really intelligently, and always brings the ball to ground. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he plays every game alongside Larks- so pumped for him.

Reckon Duursma projects to be Connor Rozee-esque at AFL level. Very similar play styles and athletic profiles, although Zane is taller, has a bigger leap, and isn’t quite as fast.
