I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for North. I lived in North Melbourne for a bit about 25 years ago - it was a ******* great place to live, I loved it.
They’re in a particularly bad spot right now essentially because of Clarkson. His stocks are very, very low due to the racism stuff and the...
Pardon the intrusion, I come waving the white flag of truce in one hand and extending the hand of friendship in the other.
Bloody tough for you guys at the minute. I know how it feels and during the equivalent period for us I had some unspeakably bad behavior moments that I still shudder to...
Obviously I’m not a regular poster myself, but in my early days of bigfooty Handsolo was someone who always had a bit of a different take on our games and i reckon got a lot of stuff right.
It really is the most disappointing part. We won a flag for the first time in decades, and instead of taking it as a reason to be free and play without fear for a while, we went the complete opposite way.
I’ve always liked Max - and in the past have put the blinkers on to his softness.
But, again, taking that useless ******* sh*tstain dumb* imbecile Simon Goodwin’s advice and focusing on the present: harden the * up Max you giant yellow-bellied weak prick. Playing the victim doesn’t cut...
Fair enough. I think we can agree on the fact that key people in leadership positions have their head so far up their own clackers that their breath reeks of large intestine.
I agree with the majority, but honestly, what’s it got to do with the supporters?
What people think on here has ZERO impact on the s**t going on with club.
I’ll take master-coach Simon Goodwin’s advice and not look (too far) into the past and just focus on today and the season ahead.
We look like a bottom rung team with poor fitness, poor skills and a boring, predictable and ineffective game plan.
The whole lot from top to bottom can * right off.
General thoughts on the club at the moment:
Welcome to the board.
Agree with you 100% on Pert. All the the stuff he’s directly responsible for has been shithouse during his tenure. Dude gets by on being firmly entrenched in the AFL executive boys club.
Don’t even want to talk about Goody. For...
I gotta say, kudos to the OP and other mods seemingly in control of the thread. Run a very tight ship right up to the critical moment and then more or less abandon it. Very on-brand for the MFC. Maybe someone’s gunning for a spot on the media team.
I know… I love toump - that’s never going to change. I honestly enjoy all the posters on here. I rely on them as a dedicated reader, rather than a poster.
The thing I just don’t get, posters that love and vote for Neita - hate Gawn. The posters that vote for Gawn also love Neita.
You’ve lost me toump. I never picked you for a hard campaigner under the movie-star, live and let live exterior. Just another footy club grunt at the end of the day...
We wouldn’t have won the flag without Max’s leadership. He more than any other individual has been the catalyst for our resurgence from the direst of s**t. I loved Neita, and I’m sure he’s a ripping bloke. Definitely more of a ‘yeah, nah good on the boys’ kind of leader though.
As best as I can figure out, at the time of trading, Richmond had the pick immediately after us (28) which ended being traded to Freo at pick 35 (Cooper Simpson). Our pick 27 was eaten up as part of Gold Coast matching.
35 is harder to work out, but I think it was the 5th last pick of R2 at...
People wanted melts - I gave it to them. A good melt soothes the soul. it’s all just an absolute amateur’s opinion and what would I know etc. FWIW I’m hoping to be made to look a fool and both guys smash it.
With a bit of time to think about it, I’m going with shithouse. s**t trading, s**t selections and typically MFC fart sniffing arrogance. Poo, farts, s**t and MFC.
