I can’t wait for the confidence to build and he takes on the opposition instead of handballing off. His handballs in congestion are mostly delaying the inevitable of kicking it long but if he backs himself and breaks the line he will dominate.
Not sure what stats or impact will clasify as a breakout season but Parish is looming as our most improved. Around the stoppages he looks better than anyone naturally. Won’t surprise me if he is our leading clearance player this year.
If there’s ever a chance to beat Adelaide it’s this one. Captain and crouch looking less likely to play plus a fair few changes from their best 22 last year. Both teams will play relatively tall forward and back which will make for a tough midfield slog, whether that is a lot of running or...
Is it the extra weight or has he lost a bit of agility/speed? Moving like Jobe, maybe heavy legs from a change in running through midfield rather than plonked up forward.
All we can do is speculate. Without hearing the coaching message to Langford first hand it’s hard to know what the issue is with him. Could be a complete spud and they’re giving him every opportunity to get into the game or they are over emphasising the defensive side and he’s confused and lost...
Woosha either only sees one spot for Myers and Langford. Or he wants a full time hit out from Langford in the vfl game as he’s currently last in the midfield pecking order.
He was pretty dominant when the ball was around him. I'd start him around the stoppage and roll him fwd from there. If someone is going to win a Brownlow in the next few years for us it's Zerrett or Stringer.
What a steal! Stringer, Smith and Saad for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounder.
Hrovat said the Roos were hopeful of challenging fort a finals berth this year, after six wins last season.
“There’s no ceilings. The last couple of years the Dogs (2016 premier) and Richmond (2017) have proved that,” he said.
“There is no team that can’t win it.
“Look at the form last year if...
He comes across the same as he plays, egotistic. I guess him being a hog won't be diminishing. However I think he has the ability to do it himself.
Interesting bit of info on hird in the media conference though.
I'd argue Darcy's ceiling is higher than some of them guys you listed. He's a pure midfielder that once strong enough will dominate. He's not going to be the prettiest or the most exciting player but he'll be consistent and at times the match winner. Not many midfielders have had the ability to...
I'm considering brayshaw in defence, graham in midfield and Deledio forward. Probably can't start with all of them, might wait until r3 to see whether they're going well.
Not good we don't want another season harassed by media. We have to get on the front foot with a positive statement that limits the questions and hypotheticals. If he leaves then he either says his 'staying' with a clause to leave at the end of the season or some other miracle statement spin...
Zaharakis, Smith, Laverde, Langford, Stringer I doubt would go into defence. Zerrett and parish could but would prefer them going forward which leaves Redman as a good replacement if a Goddard or McGrath went down. He's definitely on the outskirts of best 22 but has the point of difference that...
