Norf winning that pointless round 24 match last year against Gold Coast and losing out on Reid has got to be one of the dumbest decisions possible. Clearly that win did nothing since they are just as bad if not worse than last year.
Fremantle are no different under Longmuir than under Ross. Garbage defensive footy that will end exactly the same way.
A sick part of me was happy with Carlton's robbery last week just due to how putrid of a brand Fremantle play.
These last couple of years we have seen 2 of the most uncompetitive teams of all time in North and WCE and it's actually terrible for the ladder since double ups against them pretty much guarantee 8 points and a truck load of percentage. North kind of look like they are turning it around a...
Caleb Serong 25 disposals in a half with 1 score involvement. He may win a lot of the ball but he is very vanilla. I would take Anderson and Green over him every day of the week.
GWS get sent to every ground in the country and I think it has helped them tremendously. Unlike certain other clubs who have a tantrum getting sent to Docklands the Giants just carry on with business.
I know half of the Eagles list is injured, but even with a fully fit list they would still be terrible. I see 1 player on their whole list that is in their prime and worth something and that is Oscar Allen. You could add Petracca, Currnow, Moore, and English and they might just reach slightly...
Holy s**t. Last I checked the score was 12-6. Idk what the record is but West Coast are every chance to get the record for most 100 point losses in a season. I'm just kind of sad we got them at the one point where they actually showed some heart to fight back.
Out of all the losses we have had the Carlton one now looks the worst. They are truly putrid and if we had them anytime that wasn't in the first 3 rounds then it would have been a fairly easy win even with the VFL midfield we have been putting up.
I know it was a great financial decision and good for his family, but Kellys move is looking like an all-time blunder. Watches his old team win a flag whilst his current team is likely going to have 3 wins in 2 seasons.
I was extremely critical of Miers this time last year since he seemed to be in no mans land as a player. To his credit he worked hard and found his role and he is bloody elite at it. If he keeps it up, he will almost certainly have a podium finish in the BnF.
I expect we will be seeing a lot of coach changing this year. Beveridge, Dew, Hinkley, Longmuir, Nicks and Simpson will all be under serious pressure if things don't change, and as of 2 rounds we have seen none of that.
De Koning is the most valuable young KPP in the comp. I don't care what anyone else says. He had a nervous kick at the start but shook it off and went about business.
Iirc Franklin was the last tall to kick more than 3 goals against us. We played a completely unfit Henry on him, and he was thoroughly beaten. Collingwood made a mistake by not putting Moore onto Franklin from the start and paid the price in the first half. De Koning has to go straight to him...
I think I'd rather Collingwood win since Sydney s**t me whenever we play them since they never miss, and we can't hit the side of a barn. Last 2 games against them we kicked a combined 22.33 to 31.11. I also thought Collingwood threw the kitchen sink at us and we still held on despite a fair few...
