If a mid year trading period is introduced this year, do you trade your end of year draft picks?

If Curtin slides on draft night, we should look to GWS picks 7 (Curtin) & 16 (Collard).
Maybe in trade for our future first and Collingwoods future first?
I can't come to terms with a business not assessing reasons for previous years poor performance - loss of experience.
Then not putting actions in place to mitigate that identified risk - still lose experience.
Then knowingly obstain from any action to counter that risk - bring in experience...
