Jacob Konstaky is the one we should be well and truly into imo. Not sure how he’s been performing in the reserves but looked really good in his draft year.
Pressure small forwards and an elite distributing half back to free up Martin are the two obvious needs. I’m relatively comfortable with our stocks in pretty much every other department.
Key defence is also a slight issue but once Ridley and maybe Reid return it will look a heap better.
It’s tough to say whether this result is a genuine positive or just another false dawn.
We should glimpses of a team that could do genuine damage this year, obviously not contenders by any means but perhaps break the elusive drought.

Was copping a lot of flack from North supporters last year who were happy to see him go but he has looked a ton better playing for a merely average side instead of a total basket case.

We were 4-4 after 8 games and peaked at 9-7 after round 17 where we 5th.
Last year was a bit different as we typically start poorly and finish the year alright to sneak in/just miss out on the 8.
Not necessarily a typical AA side (loaded with mids) but the side I would pick if I was a selector based on actual roles/balance:
B: Andrew McGrath - Sam Taylor - Brayden Maynard
HB: Dan Houston - Alex Pearce - Luke Ryan
C: Errol Gulden - Matt Rowell - Josh Kelly
HF: Gryan Miers - Jeremy...
