Christensons disposal is killing us

Very surprised to see so many saying smith was average today. Was at the game and was extremely impressed by him. Gets first hands on a huge number of balls at stoppages and was very strong over the ball and hard to tackle. Also clean when dishing it out by hand and covers a heap of ground...

I think the last few weeks have shown we need mitch robbo around the contest as much as possible. Easily our cleanest player by hand, hits targets and rarely fumbles.

Originally i was going to say 12 but after reading some of the phantom draft threads it seems like he may be viewed more around the pick 20 mark than 10. Yeh 2 out and out contested ball winners seems like our main priority with 1 and 12 but i think we urgently need to address our footskills...

True. Yet even so Gardiner's clumsiness manages to stand out more than others. Consistently loses one on ones due to stupid or undisciplined frees or by silly mistakes like losing his feet. Not saying he can't fix this part of his game but he can be hard to watch at times currently.

Couldnt't agree more! Love Gardiner's attack on the contest and enthusiasm but he has absolutely zero poise or composure. If he can't arrest these problems then it's hard to see him having a future at the club.
