This has become quite messy hasn't it, whereas the players do deserve good salaries but they shouldn't be the ones dictatino terms, so, I guess all these t20 franchises all over the world have made the players feel that they can dictate terms now, it's sad when such a standoff occurs.
This is great news for the teams involved, this should have happened much earlier but the current BCCI regime was particularly resistant to new teams joining in, they didn't even want to their involvement in the world cup.
but now having the newer teams play each other is very good, it means...
I think everyone should play everyone once in a round Robin game first up and then the top 4 teams qualify, at least you know you have the best 4 teams going forward.
Exactly my point, not as organised as shield cricket but yet they can still produce players for international cricket, I wonder what would happen if they did have a good setup like Australia do, they would be producing them by the bucket load.
What a wonderful story, despite taking longer than expected to complete their degree they are now in a much happier place, so there is light ato the end of the tunnel.
Congrats to both teams reaching the final and congrats to Pakistan on winning the trophy, I seen pics and videos on the internet and the cricketers went back to a huge ovation, everyone seems to have turned up in droves to congratulate Pakistani cricketers.
Despite not having any sort of...
I love travelling, can only say I have not disliked any place. There is goodness to be found anywhere if you are willing you look for it.
I loved: Marakesh, Paris, Abu Dhabi, Rome, London, New York.
All something different but great to offer.
England seem to have an excellent side and justifiably one of the favourites for the tournament however who's idea was it to hold it England this time of year, weather really has played spoil sport and think it will continue to do so.
Who knows who is to blame for this mess but hope it will get resolved. There was a time aussie cricketers didn't give too much of a damn for money. How ipl has changed that.
I don't get the hate for Gabriel, he is a tail-end batsmen and lasted a good wee while at the the crease, better than expected in fact, also did you guys see the amount of fielders around the bat, he probably felt a gentle nudge might not have been the best option. West indies did well...
That's good that you got a chance to go and now that you know it's not for you, you know your not missing out. You wouldn't have known had you not attended.
The big three should never have happened in the first place, It was sheer greed to keep the big 3 happy or happier if you like. But even CA and ECB now see sense as they voted against the current financial model and give everyone else a fairer distribution which means other countries can...
Your 100% correct, it can be the feeling of being excluded and not being part of certain events. This is why social media is crucial to depression or lack of, if you can seperate social media from your feelings then you will manage but too many people feel empty as a result without realising why.
I happened to go to a lecture the other day based on Anxiety and Depression and it was one of the best lectures I have been to and I wanted to share it with you awesome people
To try and condense the lecture into a little bit he was talking about how back in 1990 the World health Organisation...
I did one with St johns Ambulance here in Scotland and it was top notch, It has been a while though so i need to renew it again, Thanks for reminding me :)
The trailer to Wonder Woman looks surprisingly good, as does the new trailer to the Tom Cruise film "the Mummy", I dont know if its him replacing Brendan Fraser or if its just someone else wanting to do something new but it looks good, I like anything to do with Ancient Egypt so I will enjoy it...
Seen Fast and Furious, I liked it, wasnt sure how it would be without Paul Walker but it was good. I reckon they are trying to get Paul Walkers brother roped into the next one. there was mention of "brian", and one of the characters said she doesnt want to get him involved I think Brian will...
If this quartet do play then it would be very exciting not just for aussie but for world cricket, its a mouth watering prospect but injuries have hampered the progress of the cricketers.
Again some people getting more money than what they deserve, Stokes getting the biggest deal when he hasnt proved himself yet in the IPL or any other t20 tournament in the world but lets say someone like Eion Morgan who is proven in this format gets a lot less. No logic to the salaries.
