Strategy Changes and Pre-match discussion (Freo 15/7, MCG 1.45pm)

Looking like Maynard might be good to go.. In - Maynard, Sidebottom, McStay Out - WHE, Bianco, Frampton Sub - someone incredibly stiff

Strategy Changes and Pre-match discussion (Freo 15/7, MCG 1.45pm)

I think we’ll see Maynard and Mihocek miss one more week, not often you see a one week hammy injury and bruz needs to get that shoulder good for finals…. I’d prefer McStay has another VFL game but after seeing AJ come straight in after his avg VFL performance and Frampton showing he’s more a...

Game Day Round 13: Collingwood V Melbourne, 12 June, 3.20pm

Pretty sure his exact words were “he’s carried a heavy load recently” which doesn’t make much sense given he missed the start of the year and has been a sub… 🤔 His chase and pressure was awful last week.

Game Day Round 13: Collingwood V Melbourne, 12 June, 3.20pm

Hopefully. McRae just said rested after a heavy load so I’m hoping this is tactical to stretch their backs and keep Lever and May accountable.

Game Day Round 13: Collingwood V Melbourne, 12 June, 3.20pm

Some comments on Facebook around Ginni being spotted out clubbing last night…. Take with a grain of salt but who knows.

Review Round 10, 2023 vs Narrm

I come in peace! There’s been lots of talk about Nick Daicos this year but gotta say Horne Francis is a beast of a player, already a star and going to be huge for you. Congrats on the win, your boys played well 👍🏼

    Autopsy Round 8 vs Melbourne @ The Bank - 06/05/23 - 4:35pm

ROBBED. How these umpires keep getting away with this s**t is beyond me, again had clear influence on the result 🤬

    Prediction 2023 - Best 23

Lol typo !! Copied the wrong name - Cameron first ruck…. Although I still think Cox is a better tap ruck, will be interesting to see if we go with both Cameron and Cox or opt for a smaller setup with McStay rucking fwd stoppages. Thoughts from watching training Jen2310 ??

    Prediction 2023 - Best 23

Maynard Frampton IQ N Daicos Moore Howe Cameron Mitchell DeGoey J Daicos Crisp Sidebottom Ginnivan McStay Johnson McCreery Mihocek Elliott Pendles, Adams, Noble, Lipinski Sub - Cox Hard to pick a team given Hill, Murphy, WHE, Carmichael, Krueger, Macrae all very capable and apparently Draper...

Review PF = Sydney 95-94 Collingwood

Just got home too! Gotta say, it’s pretty frustrating they get to play on that Auskick ground… You can really notice just how much smaller the ground is being there in person which is a huge advantage for Sydney. The music played between every goal is just annoying, makes no sense, and then...

List Mgmt. COLLINGWOOD Trade and F/A Discussion 2022-->

S Surely it’s not that difficult to sell McStay… Our need for a key position players is obvious, particularly after yesterdays game when Franklin and Reid both marked regularly and we relied on finding loose players or goals from fwd 50 stoppage. McStay was probably BOG in their previous...

Review Something Something HOW ******* GOOOD - Week 1 Finals Review

Congrats on the win, awesome come back! Brayshaw is a gun, and Freo playing great footy, really well coached. Enjoy the build up and may the best team win next weekend. Hopefully the umps don’t stuff this one as usual.

Unofficial Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - Round 23 vs. Carlton, Sun 21/08, 3:20pm MCG

Better that we’re not, otherwise would’ve only had a 6 day break plus travel back from Sydney… last time we played the scum this year we also travelled back from Perth 😡

    Coach Craig McRae

Journo: The Brisbane lions side that won 3 premierships were quite ruthless, will there be any of that in your coaching style? McRae: Yes. Sold me right there. This was the moment I was sold !

Universal Love Round 13 (Pies win, farewell Bucks)

Best game I’ve seen from WHE and JT for some time. Clearly that wing position suits WHE, hopefully Harvey keeps him there. Great win, loved the hunt and dare. The kids that played today have a very bright future.

    List Mgmt. 2021 Mid-Season Draft

Has anyone seen this social media post by Ash Johnson doing the rounds referring to Collingwood and its supporters as ‘wan*ers’ ?

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - Round 10 vs. Port Adelaide, MCG Sun 23/05 @ 3:20pm

Anyone know who were in the bests for the VFL game ? If there’s any game to get up for, this is the one. We don’t have the quality or depth, but we can at least go in with some aggression and spirit. If that’s not evident, surely it’s goodbye Bucks.

    Preview Changes & Pre-match Discussion - Round 10 vs. Port Adelaide, MCG Sun 23/05 @ 3:20pm

Hate Port with a passion, but I gotta say, I admire how loud their supporters are. Reckon we’ve lost some mongrel in our crowds 😡

Don't want, (or need) to start a new thread - still want to post it though

Anyone have any news on this ‘magpie button’ ? Just received a text from the club about buying one, but there’s stuff all info on what the thing actually does.

Opinion Port Adelaide and their Prison Bars

Sick of these annoying, idiotic, inbred Port supporters sooking about their ‘heritage’, while their irrelevant club continues leeching $ off the AFL, and trying to sell fake Collingwood jumpers - while we pay tax ??? The only reason anyone cares is because Collingwood is involved.

List Mgmt. Trade and F/A - Part 3

Could’ve had Hogan also... but hey let’s play our all Australia defender as a key fwd instead.

    Autopsy Round 4 = Collingwood 60-90 GWS

Grundy struggles against the Bigger bodied opponents, they always hit him up with body contact, stop his jump and force him off his line. Grundy should be coached to use his athleticism to either take the ball out of the ruck (given he can’t get pinged for holding the ball), or try avoiding body...

    Autopsy Round 4 = Collingwood 60-90 GWS

Adam’s went off injured and Degoey - who is probably the only one that can win a hard ball one on one - is left standing in the goal square.
  25. JC83

    Autopsy Round 4 = Collingwood 60-90 GWS

Would make too much sense for our coaching panel.
  26. JC83

    Autopsy Round 4 = Collingwood 60-90 GWS

The lack of imagination and dare is what annoys me the most, both at selection and game day. Moore could be arguably the best swing man in the game, but no, leaves him parked back. Daics career best season on the wing, but no, Madgen goes there. IQ needs to be played as an attacking backman, run...

Game Day Collingwood vs GWS, MCG Saturday 10/04 7:25pm

Our list isn’t the best, but it’s certainly not this bad. It’s clearly time Bucks and co.

    Player Watch Will Hoskin-Elliott

Watched the invisible man the other day. Saw it again tonight live at Marvel. Sh!t movie both times.
  29. JC83

    Autopsy Round 1, 2021 = Pies 53-69 Dogs

Agree, but unfortunately playing Cameron to stretch and undersized dogs backline would mean actually having a ‘strategy’, which is too far fetched for our coaching staff, let alone selecting Cameron over stars by the names of Will Hoskin Elliot or Josh Thomas.
