Rumour has it that Grayson has been moved on by the Sharks, it’s a shame he was a good player but miles ahead of himself, looked as though he thought he was still on the Suns list the way he struts.
Wonder where he’ll show up next?
Unless the GF is at Broadbeach Gazzaa will likely blow a fuse.
I’d say there is a good chance of some ladder movement in the QAFL this year which is a good thing. Don’t be surprised if WG, Morningside, MtG or the WM are playing deep into finals. Just because the coast clubs are spruiking lots...
Same coach for the past few seasons and can’t of been easy to sell that coach to potential gun recruits.
A proven coach and footy manager now, I reckon you’ll see a vastly different outfit.
Sharks will be big improvers this season with the proven combination of Fields and Daniels with the able back up of Skinny Lappin and Aaron Cornelius. Looks as though there has been some big player movement & rightfully so, if the previous players couldn’t get the job done then move along...
It’s a difficult one. The points system didn’t stop Morningside being undefeated premiers in 2014, neither should it have.
Another consideration is the differing populations with Bne being 2.3 million people and the GC around 600 thousand.
Thrown the toys out of the cot again Gaz.
I was right there and while it wasn't a great decision, it would've been a throw in, in the fwd pocket and Palmy were all over you. Maybe don't start chipping the ball around with 10 minutes to go and you'll take the result out of the umpires hands...
Looking forward to the first week of finals should be some great footy played. Who's your tips? Palmy have a good record against Broady, hopefully there's a bounce back after the weekends game up at Sandgate.
Sundays game looks to be a ripper also.
You've got to love September
I'm loving this. It's been awhile since I've seen a dummy spit like this from a club. I'd be thanking the league for the help they've given us this season, not belting them for not picking their ground for the GF.
Pretty immature twitter post from them yesterday too apparently...
I see the blinkers are still firmly in place.
At least I am an unbiased Muppet.
Didn't hear this outrage from the Cats last year, what has changed?
When was the last time a QAFL grand final was held at a QAFL club?
IMO if it was at any qafl club it should be a non finals team.
I haven't been there for a few years but last time I looked Southport had broady covered.
Clubhouse - 1000 times better
Change rooms- home better, away worse (not bad though)
Surface - better (no cricket pitch)
Viewing - similar - raised right around and great view from clubhouse
I don't...
I've seen a bit of reaction from Broadbeach people about the QAFL grand final ground announcement.
How can the league make the game at a home ground of a live finals team??
Was the JLT cup game and state game not enough for you sooks?
Take your blinkers off.
Yeronga aren't in the qafl either...
Palmy a bit stiff on the weekend and Morningside looked well and truly on, especially late.
I agree can't see it hurting PBC too much, looks like they had a few injuries too.
Hey Stuyd I watched them play a months back against Redlands and the list looked just fine then. They won well in NT last week too. Didn't watch yesterday but it sounds like you answered your own question with them continually going backwards or sideways.
The coach must be in some strife you'd...
